Ataraxia is an alternate ending to Night.. in Night all the servants have returned to their own time at the end. Ataraxia starts off by.. "What if all the servants found a way to stay in the current timeline?" So the Ataraxia storyline happens after Night, but is not an actual continuation of the Night story itself. Confused? That's why Type-Moon most probably won't do Ataraxia anime. Its just too confusing to fans who din play the game (me included..)

I agree with bkno9 in that Atarixia is confusing as hell. *minor spoilers* The story in itself makes sense but the fact the same 4 days repeat giving other the chance to change the outcome of other things. Also, having one person control the time anomoly is ok but after understnading that its really hard to follow. Though adding a new servent was cool ^^ |

@nablix aha~! i dun think the *spoilers* warning is necessary, since Ataraxia isn't an anime (yet). A new servant? You mean 'Avenger'? Oh well, since you're doing it XD.. *spoiler* What is EVEN more confusing is the fact that Avenger only appears at night. In daytime, he takes the form of none other than Shirou. Yes.. good ol' Shirou.. who was supposed to become Archer in the Night storyline. In Ataraxia, this 'weird coincidence' of Shirou = Avenger was not explained. Well, either (a) Shirou IS Avenger (very unlikely since Shirou doesn't seem to remember/know anything about Avenger) (b) Avenger takes over Shirou's body at night. I guess it means that Avenger does not physically come into the current timeline like the other servants, but only when needed/called for.. and then only in spirit...and transforming Shirou's body in the process. (c) The Shirou in Ataraxia is not the Shirou we know and love (or hate XD) from Night, it is actually Avenger who assumes the form of Shirou in the morning cos...well, he can't really walk about in public looking like that, can he? Take your pick XD ~~~~~

| I don`t know things about the hollow atraxia but I just reserved the game in ps2 fate stay night realta nua and i bought the special version which also has the fate stay night game in psp version. |

*SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!! A clarification.... In Fate Avenger was the "spirit" in the Holy Grail that grants the wishes to whoever gets a hold of it. In the 3rd Holy War that is explained in the novels "Fate/Zero"...(awesome reads if you get a chance....volume 2 is out) he is actually an evil spirit accidentially summoned....some may say his true identity is of "Angra Mainyu ~The God of Darkness~"... but in reality he's just a simple villager mistakenly killed by his village. Anyways after the Grail was destroyed Avenger was freed but couldn't cont to live...so he found a dying Bazette & they made a contract. He saves her life so he can live on sort of deal. In doing so the 5th Grail War was recreated (sort of like a time paradox)...during the night he acted as Bazette's servant...by day he was Shirou. Since he recreated the war he could decide who he would encompass. Unfortunately the "real" Shirou being the way he is tries to fix the paradox....so a sort of "inbattling" happens within Avenger. Bazette realizes the problem but doesn't want to do anything about it thinking she may die if the time paradox is fixed. Long story short Avenger ends the loop, frees Bazette & returns into nothingness. As far as an anime version of Fate/Hollow.....its possible but highly unlikely cause for the most part the main story is depressing...almost every servant is killed (yes even Saber meets her end)....& would be confusing for those who has never played the game. The other part where "what if all the servants were able to stay around" is sort of like a 'fandisk'....extra fun scenarios of "what ifs". Very different from the main story....quite amusing!  |

Not entirely sure....it took me until last week to finish volume 1....i picked out the main points thanks to a friend of mine who understands japanese better than me. Volume 2 i ordered so i'll be getting that in the mail hopefully soon....probably will take me another 3 months to read it. Anyways you can try to find it on the forums of "the moonlit world" the Typemoon fansite. If you don't know the link i can post it. Sorry i can't be more help.... |

hmm, never mind then. i don't really know how to read kanji (major problems with them T_T), which is why i was hoping for a translation site...(it took me about 4 days to translate just the prologue...and with many mistakes at that *sighs*) well, i could try 'the moonlit world'... |

@izumo Thanks for clearing that up~! XD Most of my info was from various websites, since my kanji is really really bad.. Hmm.. depressing you say? Yeap..juz like type-moon.. they really like making sad stories. But I dun think i'd want to watch FHA if they ever made it into an anime. I thought the FSN anime, though bittersweet, was really beautifully done. It was one of the few animes which really had an impact on me.. so I wouldn't want to watch FHA only to have it mess up my mind and my memories of FSN and Saber.. ~XD

@ bkno9 Well....something i would like to see is the other scenarios of Fate being animated...like "Unlimited Blade Works" & "Heaven's Feel". UBW would be awesome.....but would kinda defeat the purpose of guessing who Archer really is...of course Rin would take center stage....as the main heroine. I would love to see HF animated...seeing Drk.Sakura & Blk.Saber would be awesome just by themselves. The Fate ending was expected for me....i kinda saw it coming....Saber is a very popular character & it was no surprise that her ending was shown. Yes...it was bittersweet...but if people know about the history/story of King Arthur than...yeah you know what happens. |

@izumo yeah.. watching shirou/archer summoning unlimited blade works would be awesome indeed. btw.. i know about black saber, but how did that happen actually? did she get tainted by the grail? and i think the ending for heaven's feel is so so much sadder than in FSN *SPOILER* highlight to read.. XD Cos in Heaven's Feel, Shirou is paired with Sakura instead of Saber and in the end, Shirou sacrifices himself (for something.. i dunno what XD) and Sakura waits for him to come back without knowing anything.. T_T it's hard to move on if there is still hope..

Well first Saber is defeated by Shadow & true Assasin who were summoned by the villian of the scenario Zouken Matou (the grandfater of Sakura). After she lost she was corrupted by the Shadow. The shadow is actually Sakura possesed by a parasite...more knowingly Angra Mainyu. She corrupts both Saber & Berserker.... Shirou, Rin, Rider, & Ilya escape but Archer dies during the escape but grafted his arm to Shirou after he lost one of his. In this scenariou Kotohime is sort of a good guy....him & Gilgamesh appear & kills Sakura with Gates of Babylon....but Sakura is able to regenerate cause of the parasite. Anyways LOTs of stuff happens....Blk.Saber is defeated by the combined efforts of Shirou & Rider...Shirou was hesitiant to land the final blow...but Saber pleads him to end her life since she is no longer the way she was...(this was a sad moment in the game....T__T) Rin battles Sakura...almost kills her but at last second thought otherwise...it almost killed her. Sakura realizes that she is loved & surrenders but when the Grail is reformed Angra Mainyu will be released. A near dying Shirou traces "excalibur" to destroy it but Kotohime intervene...they fight with Shirou winning. Knowing he is about to die...uses excalibur & destroys the Grail. *SPOILER!!!! There are 2 endings....Normal & True (yes i agree the ending to HF are tragic...esp. Normal) Normal: Shirou sacrifices to destroy the Grail...Sakura vows to wait for him to return....years pass & she gets old but still faithfully waits.....in the end she realizes he won't....(another sad ending....T_T) True: Here Ilya sacrifices herself instead of Shirou to destroy the Grail...Shirou recieves a new body courtesy of the "puppet master" (a reference to Aozaki Touko from Kara no Kyoukai....a movie is being made...i read the novels...REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!!)...anyways Shirou live normally with Sakura & Rin....Rin gets promoted to be a sorceress at the Association. |
