Wait a sec... -is digging through the old memory- Bon odori, I remember that my cousin once said that it is a folk dance to celebrate the deceased spirit so that the spirits can rest peacefully in the after life. The songs used in bon odori is enka songs. But there's not an exact song to be played. I've attended bon odori dance 4times, and the songs used on those 4 events always different. However, the way you dance, how to move your feet and hands are the same. Btw, kikyo, I thought that you should make a new thread instead posting your question in this one. That's off topic. |

Bon Odori eh, we will be performing Bon odori this coming aug 29 or 30-31, since that day is our RP-JPN festival at our school, and we're wearing HAPPI. XD
