It's one of the anime series i'm following....at first when i first saw the pictures of it i originally thought it was the anime version of Minori's visual novel game "EF ~the first tale~"....which you can see the intro in my profile.

The character designs were done none other than Naru Nanao (better known for her work on Da Capo)...always loved her work.

Anyways the story of Sola is interesting so far....it started off a little slow in my opinion. The characters are interesting....i hope things pick up so i can really enjoy the series. The intro song is beautiful...the end theme is also very good. Too bad it's only 13 episodes...i wonder if that is enough to fully tell the story...*cross my fingers*

@ Kay

Yup...she has done character designs for many games....mainly for Minori...but she has also done designs for companies like F&C & Circus.

Other notable works from her other than Da Capo is Canvas....

Her works in visual novels include Da Capo, Canvas, EF, Saishuu Kujira to name a few...

@cozmos, here's a slight description from AnimeNfo
Morimiya Yorito is a normal 15-yearold high school student with a unique interest. He enjoys the ‘sky’, whether it be just gazing up at it, or taking pictures of it. He lives alone now as his only family, his elder sister, is ill and is laid up in the hospital.

One day, he decides to take a picture of the dawn over the sea. While setting up his equipment, he meets a young girl, but she leaves before he is able to ask her name.

This is but the first of his encounters with her. The next night, Yorito once again meets this girl, who introduces herself as Shihou Matsuri, and discovers that she shared an interest in the sky.

The third time they meet, he discovers that someone intends on harming her, and that she may not be human…

@Izumo, btw, izzit true that Kara no Kyoukai will be animated? cause if it is...sw33t!

@ Kay-san

Ms.Naru Nanao-san didn't do the designs for the anime series but she did do the designs for the original visual novel game. She didn't do the designs but it were based on her original desogns....that's why the anime series is different....sorry i should've been more clear.

Anyways to answer your question...YES!!! Kara no Kyoukai will be turned into a full length movie sometime this year...according to the official site...around summer maybe this fall. They are still in the development stages. UFO table will be handling the animation....they did Coyote Ragtime Show & Futakoi Alternative to name a few so it'll look quite good.

I made a thread about it...but so far not alot of people know about this...which is a shame since the story is so good...what do you expect from the makers of Tsukihime & Fate.

Here is the link to the thread if you wanna stop by...Kara no Kyoukai thread
