Screamers
|
I think screamers are utterly awesome. It's hard to find a japanese screamer (that's good). Yuusuke (from HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR) is definitely my favorite. I think Kyo is also good. I just listened to 0:00 AM by ACID and the screaming's pretty b*d*ss. Does anyone else have any singer/band or song that has good screamers?

Do you mean like.... people that scream instead of sing? If so, I like Maximum the Hormone. They're freaking sweet. If not, ignore me and stamp my forehead with a big red sign that says Moron |

I guess anything settles as long as some screaming is there. It beats really soft music with these parts that totally decieve you into thinking it's going to be hardcore like Wish by OLIVIA. Thanks. Any more to enlighten me, please?

I have to get the myspace from a band from my hometown. I'll get it on Monday, then I'll post it here. They are pretty heavy ^__^ You are welcome, by the way. |

I don't like that genre of music that much, but i think the best would have to be from Breaking Benjamin. Its good :d got me kinda interested in that music again. I went all japanese for about a year and a bit and didn;'t know any english AT ALL. haha, yeah breaking benjamin is definetly a good band.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breaking_Benjamin This Breaking Benjamin? It's not exactly Japanese...in fact, it's not at all. Guess I'll stick with Maximum the Hormone, Dir En Grey and (of course) HandMC unless someone has another suggestion.

I've heard that D'espairs Ray is pretty heavy... I've never listened to them. >< |
Re: Screamers

nope they ain't japanese. And you never specified whether they should be japanese or not. Does anyone else have any singer/band or song that has good screamers? 'Cuz that is what you said. :D Although you did talk about Japanese ones, you never asked for 'em :P I still stick by my decision. There was also this song that Eureka sent me it was from Deathnote. It was pretty sweet. I can't remember the song though :P

Well, that's what was implied by the screamers I named. But yeah, the canon is that they're japanese. I think that some of these other metal bands are pretty hardcore but they're just not really good on screamers. Moi dix Mois is an example of pretty good vocals on a non-screaming level.

@Schala: I sentededed you "What's Up, People?" by Maximum the Hormone (Death Note Opening 2) |
Re: Screamers

Thanks again. I've been tuning into MtH for some time now and What's Up People?! has now become my favorite. I'm currently listening to Metal Safari, which is a bit too much for me. I like the screaming and all but not only metal has good harsh vocals. Rock bands do have them too. I think I'll wait for the new H&MC single or when Yuusuke releases his solo project.
