I know that paper fans are a commion slapstick divice. My question would be are those also slapstick divices used in anime? |

Well, sometimes they are. Kaname in Fullmetal Panic uses a paper fan on Sousuke a lot, and if i remember correctly, they were also used in Disgaea. |

The paper fan, or harisen, is used in a lot of slapstick anime moments. They say, it produces a loud sound but does little harm when used to slap. Mallets that came out of nowhere are also pretty commonly used, usually by girls to hit perverts. |
