The Ultimate Pokemon Game
Link | by on 2007-05-21 21:37:51
I don't know about you people, but I'm starting to get tired of all these new pokemon being made. And the logic! My gosh, many laws of nature defied in the world of pokemon games. Yes, you can use the move Sunny Day in a freakin' dark cave! That does not make sense! Now really, how do you use the move surf on grass where there's no water?
You know what the people that create Pokemon should do? They should make an ultimate pokemon game that will take forever to complete. *evil cackle*
This Pokemon game will follow the laws of nature. No more can you summon a fire type pokemon in the middle of the sea unless it can fly like charizard and moltres. In this ultimate game, you have to go through like..what? All the stuff that Ash does in the series and get all the badges he had to get. Now you are timed to make a move before the opposing pokemon attacks! muahahaha! You will be able to see pokemon walking around. No this shouldn't be on a small hand held console. It should be on the Wii or whatever that shall come anew!
All pokemon will be featured in this game so that you can truely catch 'em all!
So what do you people think?

So I drove into a parking lot one time and saw this person pull into a handicap parking spot. When you think handicap, you think wheelchair and whatever, right? So it just ticked me off when I saw the guy come out of the car perfectly fine. So then I ran him over.

Heh, that's a pretty nice idea!
That would be far more interesting than the usual Pokemon games, and yes, far harder to beat.
And now that I think about it, there are LOTS of laws-of-nature-defying elements in the games.

Hehey, i agree with Asder on this one, the games are getting really ridiculous. It's weird how you can actually use dig on top of water and solarbeam in a cave XDDD

And no one can ever "catch 'em all", cuz they keep making new pokemon! Those legendaries aren't so legendary now, cuz there's dozens of them, like Dialga and Palkia...

LOL i agree~~~~~

@Forest: Yeah, now there aren't just 150 anymore of them. I lost count on how many exactly. And "legendary"? Yeah, right.

BTW, count how many of Ash's Pokemon that he has released away. How's he supposed to catch 'em all if he keeps doing that?

Back to the original topic... It'll be even better if you use virtual reality! (Hehe, my imagination at work.)

Well, that might be too much, but how about they make it into some kind of internet game and have a competition where the first person to catch all of the Pokemon wins, and you can challenge people you meet to battle your Pokemon!

.......On second thought, things might turn out bad if some nasty people are playing, and they force people into giving away their Pokemon, or something like that...

I say trade in the TBS type play or a RTS, you gain control of the pokemon once it gets released from the ball and then you could jump or use the enviorment to your advantage.

Finally a thread about pokemon. Okay i am playing pokemon saphire version and they have this stupid move called fake out...what!!! it makes no sense. the world doesn't rwvolve around two orbs eaither that control lad and water. hehehe uh why are there land pokemon found in the water? okay whatever happend to water beats fire? I am getting tired of counting and trying to figure out if the pokemon can evolve or not. the names are dumb too..at least some of them.

Look deep within your soul and you will find the spirit of the wolf.

don't diss the pocket monsters =p, besides fire red was the best, now i want a gold/silver/crystal remake for GBA or DS (cause GSC was the best series by far)

@Marth i agree, GSC were by far the best series, compared to the others. I mean, what's the point on getting a Swampert to learn Endeavor, since it basically it has extremely high HP already?

The game doesn't have much common sense. C'mon, why can't i swim in a pond? And jeez, when one releases a pokemon, you'd think that the person would get back his pokeball... T_T

wow the game idea is very nice
it makes me remember about the digimon world 1 game
i never agree about the legenday catching and i think in the game legendary pokemons cannot be catched, but in the game,
because as it said that if legenday catched, the world will tremble
but nothing happens when you cath any legenday
for example: ho-oh bring rainbow, so if you catch ho-oh there will be no rainbow, but nothing happened to the game
riddiculus, right?

@rasitya

haha, i remember digimon world. in fact, i still play it from time to time. i actually never completed it though.

'twould be sweet if they made a game like this...

So I drove into a parking lot one time and saw this person pull into a handicap parking spot. When you think handicap, you think wheelchair and whatever, right? So it just ticked me off when I saw the guy come out of the car perfectly fine. So then I ran him over.

Yeah, that would be nice, like .hack. But if they did, the DS would explode from the game exceeding the capacities of a DS XD

I believe Nintendo Gamefreak won't make a game that ambitious, not unless that would be the last Pokemon game they'll ever make. I mean, I believe the reason why they release 2 or more versions simultaneously such as Red/Blue/Green then Yellow, followed by Gold/Silver, Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire then Emerald, then they released remade versions of Fire Red/Leaf Green then lastly Diamond/Pearl. My point is simply business, Nintendo will continue draining all the money consumers have just to get all the things or aspects in the game. That's what I think.

I totally agree with Thunder Kiss... why would Nintendo make the "Ultimate Pokemon" if it is still making lots of money from them...

On my own, I still want that kind of game... although the possibilities are thin.

Putting common sense in the Pokemon games would not work the way we want them to work... although some laws are included in the game... for examples:

1. Thunder deals more damage when the opponent is flying... or it deals more damage when used while a rain is going on...

2. Sunny Day makes grass types to use Solar Beam w/o charging and adds power

3. The element weaknesses (Water > Fire, Rock/Ground) (Fire > Grass, Ice) (Grass > Water) and such...

4. Magnitude deals more damage when the opponent is underground...

5. Attacks misses when the opponent aren't really there.

6. Once you "Locked-on" a target... you'll never miss...

whew... thats basic on Pokemon... you have probably ignored the common sense stuff since you are already enjoying the game itself! It's fun...XP

Haseki Keiri Randoms.

Here I go again...
Right here.
So yeah.
I'll try.
The End.

I'm just getting kinda bored of pokemon..
they're starting to look pretty lame..
I mean really, a chimp with fire stickin' outta it's behind.
