Ah, I just found out today or so, that the anime released already. I'd mistaken the date where they'd began to work on the "remake" with the actual airing date of this series. :3 Anyways, I only saw the first episode so far, but it looks like a movie or some special OVA intro. It's really good, just by this one episode. Everything looks completely better, brighter, etc. I mean, you can tell instantly when you see it. =^.^= Currently, I can only get 16 episodes dLed of the anime, the rest aren't released or something, but I hope to get the new series soon.

Well from Wiki, it says it focuses more on magical battles and comedy, rather then "fanservice" (darnit >.<). XD I only saw one episode, and being similar to Mahou Sensei Negima's first episode, they just show you the entire class and then enters Negi. This time, there's no prank on him and he walks in with Takahata. I need Wiki so I can remember all the characters again. :3 But yeah, check it out. Hope Lu Bu drops by to correct any of my errors. ^_^;

@ DAngel-san - O_O!?...you just found out about this? The series has been out for quite some time now....& i think the series has just ended in Japan. Anyways the new series has nothing to do with the series that came before it. Since many were kinda disapointed with Mahou Sensei Negima...cause of poor production values. Mr.Akamatsu-san & comp. decided to do a remake...which is called just Negima!?. It follows the manga a little more than the previous but still adding other aspects to make it it's own. However for the most part the series is independent from the manga. It is like the manga is only used as a reference & not used as a blueprint. The main difference is pretty clear. The animation values of Negima!? is far superior to MSN. The fan service is still present albiet cut down from MSN....Every character gets screentime...the intro to each episodes has a wierd phrase written by the particular character. The remake is more enjoyable than MSN....the seiyuu's for every character do wonderful jobs portraiting their character....some in hilarious ways....for example Ayaka is completely obsessed with Negi....even using her fortune to build merchandise....her voice during these moments are priceless. Mahora Subs has only done 16 episodes of the series and are seriously way behind. Other than the episodes there are 2 specials that were also animated the same way. There is the Negima!? Natsu (Summer) Special & the Negima!? Haru (Spring) special. Anyways a highly enjoyable series....if you liked MSN you'll LOVE this one...if you didn't like the previous this will make you forget about it. Again though....it has its own story & retelling of the manga...so if you read the manga you may be dissapointed in some aspects with the remake. Still a very recommendable series if you haven't seen it.  |

Yes, I expected as such thats why "Negima!?" was created. The "Mahou Sensei Negima" anime always felt and looked rushed, and the story disappointed a lot of its fans... Wanting to redeem themselves they actually made the "Negima?!" series (releasing both a manga and anime series altogether) "Negima?!" was enjoyable than its other anime counterpart... but I feel that the "Mahou Sensei Negima" Manga is still superior to them both...  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

It looked so good, there aren't enough words to describe it. ;P There was a ton of fanservice in those two specials, some between Konoe and Setsuna (they're like a little couple together). =n_n= *not complaining here* Anyways, I saw those way before I started Negima!?, but you're correct... Mahora's sub group is going incredibly slow. I'm using a site to get ddL so I don't have to go through the hassles between the outdated torrents and whatnot. It might be a while yes, but it'll be done by this month or next month. At least... I [h i g h l y] hope so. >X| » Suzaku, so far, Negima!? kicks MSN's 455 in looks and whatever else similar to that category. I only saw one episode so far, and I'll think I'll stop there but yeah you should check out the first series anyways. :3

@ Tanakacchi-san - Heh....you're right....in the beginning alot of the girls have made Pactio's with Negi. In fact i think the first 5-6 episodes was a Pactio episode. Although i must say that when Setsuna made hers that was absolutely awesome....the music that plays in the BG (Pactio!!!) fit it perfectly & Setsuna showed her sheer power & techniques....flying around with her wings. @ DAngel-san - Yeah...the two specials included ALOT of fanservice...especially between Konoe-chan & Setsuna-chan....that beach scene was hilarious though. I though the special with Nodoka & Negi bound by the red string of fate was really touching....the other one was mainly just slapstick. Both are really funny though. @ Lubu-san - Well most anime series will NEVER be as good as their manga counterpart....but you appreciate what the creators/animators/studios are able to do. Manga has things that anime don't & anime has things that manga don't....we should be grateful we have both ^___^. |

They're kind of short, being OVAs and whatnot, but I can always watch 'em one day when I'm bored in the Summer (3.5 hours or so left of school). :3 I had to see episode 2 yesterday, so I did. I only have two episodes dLed (Negima!?) so far.... I can't believe how it looks, animation flows, etc. For me, I never had any type of expectations on how Mahou Sensei Negima would end up looking, but I can tell fans were really upset how it turned out with Negima!?. XD *is surrounded by Negima!? thought waves* o(@.@)o

When it comes to the look of it, Negma? blows Mahou Sensei Negima away, if that's what you prefer.

Check it out if you want. Personally, I love it better than the first series, by a long shot! Although a lot of people would also recommend the manga instead. Negima!? is the remake of MSN for a reason; you can find these out yourself by doing research or just watching the series. Check out the OVAs if you want, too. They're pretty fun to watch every now and then. Although at this point, only episodes 1-20 with two OVA releases have been subbed. They haven't stopped completely yet, but they're going at a really slow pace for some reason. They would be the only group subbing the series, Mahora-fansubs.

Well, I'm back to dLing Negima!?, once again. I can get up to episode 16 [directly], I hope if the links aren't dead from a source I'm using. Guess I'll be using my BitComet a bit for 17+ until I try to find some ddL sources for those episodes. What's the latest episode Mahora has released for the anime? The anime's LA is on episode 1-15, although sadly I haven't gotten into it yet. No subgroup has picked it up yet, either, and I can't imagine Mahora doing the LA, too. The series though, anime wise, released on DVD this year in Japan. Maybe once it releases, it'll be easier to find more subgroups subbing it. Although I love how Mahora subs the series, they're taking way too long. Within 2-3 months from now, it'll've been a year since the anime series finished in Japan...
