| I once regarded techno as a mindless bunch of noise with irritating sounding instruments that people mindlessly dance to. But after hearing Rise from Ghost In the Shell the only reaction I have is... wow! This is quite nice! Can anypne recommend any other songs like this? |

| Ghost in the Shell's Inner Universe, Surf, Ghost City (kind of), and Monochrome are some of my favorite techno songs that i have heard of but i havent really heard of any other anime that uses much techno. |

Well, Anime wise, all I can tell you is Duvet by BoA (European one, not the Asian one) from Serial Experiments Lane But outside of Anime, I've got tons of recommendations XD: Fragma ATC DJ Mystik BT DJ Dado Jakata And looking for songs that's labeled with some sort of mix, like Hikaru Utada - Hikari (Planitb Remix) or Final Fantasy - Set Me Free (Trance Mix) are only some '>_> |

The Gundam animes (is that even a word?) are made almost entirely of techno and dance music. I'm partial to Gundam Wing, but Gundam Seed has some good songs, too, including one by T.M. Revolution. ^_^

| hmmmm... other anime music similar to that from gits: sac... check out the serial experiments lain cyberia mix album, particularly the cyberia remix of duvet. another album with a similar sound is the boogiepop phantom soundtrack. and there's music by see-saw featured in the three .hack// series. |
