7mb file size cap >:3

Hey all, before is say anything I just want to say this site is awesome XD you guys rock more then ...I don't know what... Anyways, on to the topic at hand. I often have alot of the songs in the request section..but usually my mp3s are over the 7mb file size cap. Is there a way i can make my mp3 files smaller? Thx ahead of time -Hikarusan-

Re-encode it with dBpowerAmp [http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm] at 128kbps." dbPowerAmp is a great little utility that will allow you to change bit rate and everything such as that. If the song is still over 7MB, I think there are a few more things in it that can help downsize the file.

news: soon the max upload file size will be increased. maybe to 15mb, we will see.

i hope the file size limit get increased. there are some requests for files actually larger than that, even at minimum quality (like "dies irae" from a requiem used in evangelion, the song is 37 min long!) so, let´s see. |

bigger files should work now. the new limit is 12 mb.

| This is great. Now everyone can upload songs at ease. Hardly any restrictions. Quality is now assured. I m gonna upload some streaming songs later. |
