which do you prefer watching anime for kids like pokemon, yu-gay-oh, b da man, beyblade, megaman battle network, shaman king, keroro gunso, digimon they fight but get reincarnated into eggs so its not really dying.. well every anime that they didnt even bother detailing or badly drawn animes in general or Cool teenager animes with fanservice, bad mouthing, and fighting to the death like -Naruto -Bleach -Claymore -Code Geass -Fate stay night -gundam etc. which do you prefer more?   |

Well it's kind of obvious. Although, kids and teens can watch opposite shows. I watch Pokemon sometimes and I'm a teenager. My nephew saw FMA before (he liked the film, boo-yah~). XD Also, you can't bad mouth anime aimed towards a younger crowd like that just because you're older. You were a kid once, and watched those anime, in fact I'm certain of it. Anime "for a younger crowd" are "created for a younger crowd", and vice versa. If it wasn't for Dragonball, Pokemon, etc., anime wouldn't mean as much to me as it does to this very day. That's why you call them "childhood anime (memories)"?

| Some teens likes to watch kids anime and some kids likes to watch teens anime, it all depends on the person liking. |

Well i agree with fayt that it depends on what type of person and their likings. It mostly depends on the liking of the person, if they like action and fighting. Then they will watch teen anime as they have most of the action in it. 
To KILL or to be KILLED.

I guess it depends on what kind. I generally watch most types of anime. I mean, come one...I've watched Pokemon, Digimon...even Hamtaro XD, and yea, I have to admit I kinda enjoy them |

| i watch them both, teenager anime little more than kiddy, i like watch kiddy because it always has happy storyline and ending, i feel that good for free my feelings about real world. |

Most of the time I just can't stand kiddy anime. For example, I tried watching Ranma but I couldn't get past the first few episodes. My inner Kenpachi just won't allow it ^^

I like teen anime better but I can admit that sometimes I watch kiddy anime if I'm bored and there isn't anything better on tv... But that happens quite rarely, thankfully. ;D And, of course when I was kid I watched Pokemon, Digimon etc. etc. ^^ |

First off, to the person who started this forum with the japanese username: Why can i really tell that you're from America? First off, don't bad-mouth anime that you don't like. Second i don't agree that yu-gi-oh is a kid's anime: that's the american version. (which is kiddified, butchered crap) Before you judge, i suggest you watch the japanese version because in here, you can see the teenage criteria. guns, swearing, revealing monsters, references to religion, death (people can die in dark games you know.) to stay on topic, besides that anime i just mentioned, i like teen animes. Blood+ and Fate/Stay night have honorable mention here. I prefer ones with fighting and/or character conflict...

I suppose there are some ecchi scenes in the teenager ones :) Just kidding, I prefer seriousness, courage, self-sacrifice, meaningful interpretations and stuff. Something too kiddy surely doesn't interest me very much. |

Teen anime rules all the way but the kiddy anime is original which i like. and if youre really open minded they can teach you some valuable lessons on life.  Part of the new age Gendou RP veterans: Kira, Rukia, KM Revolution, Smoker, Avian, L, and Ryu. |

i used to watch the kiddy animes like pokemon, digimon when i was young yeah...but now i generally watch the teeny animes lol :D so i've to say we judge it according to ones point of view..  >< Signature? LooL!~ |

OOoohh how do u get those japanese letters like that in your name? i want Banzai in japanese text but i dont have the program for typing that language. And we all have watched the kiddy grade stuff like sailormoon lol. i just dont like it when parents badmouth about how dum pokemon is, they should just leave the cartoons to us kids to decide. I know how old people call hentai anime but us kids dont think hentai should be clumped together with anime even though its animation. i agree there are three categories like kids, teens, and adult animes. but i still like the ridiculousness on how many monsters yugioh can bring out like pokemon. o yeah and dragonballz still pawns even when your old because my uncle loves it still and hes like fifty five or something. ive also made him enjoy keroro gunso!! adults enjoy kids shows too sometimes. |

What's so kiddy about Shaman King? And didn't you know that in Yu-gi-oh! there's a scene where Yugi soaks a guy in vodka and sets him on fire? If that's kiddy then I don't want to know what it's like to be grown up. Of all the "Teen" anime you listed Naruto is the only one I really like. I kind of like Bleach but it isn't one of my favorites. Younger oriented anime tend to have brighter colors and cuter characters which I have to admit is something that catches my attention. And where do you get off saying that children's anime is badly drawn? |

hm, guess i'll go for *cool teenage anime's* then ^^ although i really still love pokemon, pika pika! (althought i'm more of the soft person that likes romance anime's over bloody fighting anime's ^^) |
