What is the best program/way to make these nice little avatars.

Adobe Photoshop is probably the most commonly used and most popular, although you could also use The GIMP, which is also pretty good from what I've heard.

photoshop is the simplest program for non-animated avy and image ready is the one for animated. those two are from adobe  |

@whytheam-san: woW~ you got a very nice avy there ^^ and.. yeah.. I use adobe photoshop and adobe image ready to make avatars :] they're simple.. ^o^

I hope people are paying for these. ^_^ I just used the gimp. To me the gimp is just as good as photoshop, but requires a little extra work. There's a new program called Pixelmato (pixelmato.com) that looks to be equal to photoshop. It's for OS X, but not released yet.

Guys, now I am working with macromedia flash ( Aan and Rei, you know this...) But I found problem when realized that the file's type is .fla . I think I should convert this type of file become .gif when put it in photobucket or tinypic.com, right ? but do not know how to do this... anyone can help me ? |

maybe this can help? photobucket uploads .fla files... at least I think it does XD you just embed instead of using the "img src" tag   |

I use photoshop 7 and imagerady, lol it come together in a package so dont worry to but it seperatelly. Paint canbe really awesome too, if you know what to do.  |
