Help! Spider Infestation! [Pics]

Seriously..they're everywhere. I don't know what to do. I can't even go near them to vacuum them up. My phobia is that great that I'm in tears cuz I'm so scared. Hell, I can't even go take a shower because there are two big ones in the bathroom. I don't know what to do, I really don't. Everywhere I go in the house there is a damn great spider. What can I do?

Just use a rubberband and shoot them all down... thats what I did in camp when there are too many mosquitos and houseflies... spiders should be easy... Lol  |

You have to overcome your phobia a bit and vacuum them up. That's the easiest, the fastest and the the most hygienic way. I sometimes just use a tissue paper, but I guess that's nothing for you, since it make a cracking sound when you crush'em and sometimes the legs are still moving and stuff.....XD Rubberband....when you can aim that is....^^;;   |

call the bug inspectors. they can fumigate your house or something. O.o` if not that, then just spray bug killing stuff around your house. i think my dad called one of those guys before, and it worked i guess. no spiders anyways but i still see one occasionally.

The only thing you can really do is call an exterminator. If their all over the house then there's a chance their laying eggs somewhere in the house or have a spot where their getting inside. From the sounds of your situation an exterminator would be a good idea. If you've got a phobia then it's really your only choice, unless someone else in the house is okay with catching them. @Huy- Overcoming a phobia isn't exactly something you can just 'do' on a whim. So that's not really the best advice.^^; I know how it is, I'm in the basement of our house and there's always some kind of bug around, I'm more annoyed by them though.    |

Exterminator, bug spray...anything that you can use to get rid of them. @Jon, My apartment is always infested by ants, and no matter what i do, they kept on coming back. Destroying the nests, sealing old nests off...nothing seemed to work...i can't enjoy a can of coke without worrying about ants crawling up the can when i didn't notice them...(they're those small ants, usually about 3 to 5 mm big) |

@Bloodymoon- Well yeah, sometimes you just can't kill the little buggers. It does depend on where you live and there's a lot of ways they can get in. It might just be the construction of your apartment, there's more than likely holes or openings that their getting in through. That's a really disgusting thought though, I think I'm off all can drinks for the next week. |

@Jon, guess so. I live in the 11th floor so it might be the construction as you said. I tried trailing the ants to their hideout, and to my surprise, their nest will always be in the apartment in some small hole somewhere... |

@all FUMIGATION EXTERMINATION! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH i say just fumigate the little buggers and laugh maniacally while the exterminator is doing his work. My sister in Houston is like OCD on bugs and whenever she fumigates it's like she's Hitler or something...i could hear her from across the street...  |

eat the spider :P lol, i have phobias with cockroaches, but i overcome them a bit when i bought lots and lots and lots of aerosol spray in my room as a stock. I get scared if my stock is finished D:  |

I HATE spiders too. Let me tell you, all you need is a vacuum cleaner with a really really long tube so that you wouldn't have to go near them to suck it. And then, make sure you have some tissue papers nearby (or in your case, a slipper), so that you can catch it or squeeze it under your slipper if it fell down (yeah, I know, ecosystem balance and all but I still hate spiders). And then make sure you suck away the webs too, to avoid the things from coming back... Exterminator will be costly and very evil (i mean, you only wanna get rid of the ones you actually see right, you don't wanna kill the whole family of the spider, it'd be too cruel)... But some spider are quite cute actually, especially u stare at those big hairy ones in the pictures (their eyes are so round and black and cute...). But I think it'll be a totally different case if you actually see it in real life...  |

| Just get daddy to pick em and toss em out. Or, I simply use an insectiside (for me, it's on cockroaches and flies) i SMACK mosquitos |

I hope you know, one egg sac of a spider contains several hundreds actual spider eggs. If you ever seen Charlotte's Web, that egg she left behind and the amount of mini-charlotte that come out is a accurate depiction of real-life spiders. Call the exterminator.  |

Charlotte's Web? lol well along that's not poisonous spider, don't try to kill it, it will break the food chain of yer house's echosystem. House Spiders are not dangerous (except black widows, it can kill ya in seconds T-T).  |

This thread is so long time ago~~~ the spiders should've been long dead. Vietnamese eat tarantulas. Like a packet of chips to them. |
