With the recent advent of the latest technology and science, more and more intricate machines are being produced. Handphones and laptops into one.. iPODs. etc. all these machines play an important role in our lives. The most advanced and ever changing one would be the computer. Does it control u? Feel free to post! =D  |

| i don't think that i'm dictated by machines or computer. but everytime i look at my computer/iPod/something else, i always think that it says, "turn on me!" |

no i'd say it certainly doesn't dictate my life, as a lower class member, i have yet to get an ipod, or a cell phone, or such fancy technologies, i do however, have one kick ass computer, but i ignore that even often (between work and school, no time to mess around with that)  |

I doubt that it is the machines that actually decide how we live. Instead we're just lazy bums who prefer to be content as opposed to being in control.

Not that I don't talk to my computer...but I don't think that it is the machines that control us but the companies instead. 
So I drove into a parking lot one time and saw this person pull into a handicap parking spot. When you think handicap, you think wheelchair and whatever, right? So it just ticked me off when I saw the guy come out of the car perfectly fine. So then I ran him over. |

hmm.. machines come and change and go.. they get upgraded all the time as technology advances. It is real hard to do many things nowadays without the computer.. don't u think? |

Machines don't control us... as for me definition of control is to be able to do whatever you want with that something. Of course we're getting too dependant of those devices, but is not something we cannot handle. "turn on me" hahahaha sweet!   |

Machines are not meant to control us. We control machines. But unknowingly, we have been led by the ear by machine. We depend on them as technology advances. We seem to rely on them to make our tasks easier. We need them cos they make our lives more comfortable too. ^^

Delta is right. We are not contorlled by machines (not yet anyway). But you pretty much can't live easy in society without knowing how to use them. And as time goes on this will increase.

"Who's your daddy?" Seriously, we humans created the machines. We definitely outsmart them XD Now, change the question to "Do machines dictate our time?" Hehe, yep. Computers, Cellphones,and etc. :p  |
