Who are Atheists in here?

This has nothing to do with discussing about God or arguing about faith! i'm just curious who here is an atheist... uhm, in our school, in my year [4th years, graduate students], there are only 2 atheists out of 500 students... me included. haha, did i say i'm in a catholic-jesuit school and i'm from philippines? XD so anwyay, just asking if there are any fellow atheists here in this forum. ^^ if you don't know, atheists are someone who does not believe in a God or deities. [personal gods included]

agnostic doesn't count now does it? not completely atheist but someone has got to give me CONCRETE evidence to prove g-d exists w/o committing any philosophical fallacies like the most common begging the question (like : G-d wrote the bible therefore g-d exists).  |

I've never considered myself as a 100% religious person, but I was born in a catholic family, I studied in a catholic-jesuist school as well (St. Joseph School... hehehe we celebrated also a day for St. Ignatius of Loyola I guess you did too Maia-san). Well, I belong to a religion since I was born, but I always question about it. Right now I think I'm more into analyzing my life and choosing what it's best for my spiritual life. Law and life style paths to follow are something we should do because we're convinced of it and because we have true knowledge of its benefits, not because someone tell you to do it and otherwise you're a bad person.   |

Well, I'm not completely atheist, but I'm close. xD I don't know how to describe it. It's kind of like, I don't believe in Gods or deities, but I grew up with a fairly religious family, so there is still an imprint of that. I guess I'm at a point where I am trying to figure out what I believe in and what I don't.  |

@Eureka: Would you be agnostic then? o.O I am an atheist as I believe in no gods or higher power. Since it's ok for people to say that god exists, I will exercise my right to say that I believe that god doesn't exist. And that's all I'm going to say because I don't want to offend anyone. |

Sometimes I question my faith now and again, so I'm not sure if I'm an atheist. There isn't real proof that *** really exists other than what the Bible says and a person did write it, so how do you know if that person didn't make *** up, because they wanted a savior. But I still do pray once and a while so who knows.

well...i'm a christian but i am not really that religious. Its because i've never seen my family gone to the church.

I can't really call myself an atheist cuz atheisets don't belive in God. But I don't belvie in anything or any theory, cuz there is no true evidince that any are correct. So I guess I'm just agnostic, but it really doesn't matter to me.

wanted to try being an atheist..but then there would be no more festival for me to participate in lol~ anyway..i would feel better to get my spirit free from what you said-God(i suppose) as i also keep asking myself whether there's god or not..~.~ |

Atheists doesnt have any religions ne... well i know sumbody hu is an atheist.. but I belong to a monotheistic religion and thats catholicism <33

Atheist IS a religion ~_~ well.... theist literally means "god" or higher deity.... if im not mistaken..... "a" means no or without so atheists simply means those without god or donot believe in god.... correct me if im wrong lolz im an atheist anyway....
there are only 2 things infinite, the universe, and human's stupidity

It is not a religion...swt You are right when you said, "atheists simply means those without god or do not believe in a god." It is merely a single core belief. Nothing like that of a religion. Jomunga eats your avatars. |
