Anyone seen the J-Drama, Nobuta wo Produce? It's a really great show... it made me cry ;_; You might recognize some of the actors; starring Maki Horikita, Tomohisa Yamashita, and Kazuya Kamenashi. It's the story of a guy named Kiritani Shuji (Kame), who's an all-around cool guy who gets along with everybody. The only person he hates is this guy named Kurano Akira (Yamapi), who has all sorts of strange habits which Shuji finds annoying. Their relationship changes when a girl named Kotani Nobuko (Horikita) comes to school. She is extremely shy, and gets violently bullied by a group of girls in their class. Thus, Shuji and Akira band together and try to make her popular. And along the way, they learn alot of new things. ... I'm listening to the OST right now. I suppose I can send it to people, if they want it. |

Nobuta wo produce is like the greatest drama i've ever seen in my whole life!!!!!!!!!!! With Yamapi and Kame!! XD AHH~!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!! Maki is a good actor too...................... In every episode i laugh like 3 or more times and cry at the end of every episode! IT'S SOO GREAT!!!! I COULD WATCH IT FOREVER!!!!!!!!! XD  |

I actually don't watch just to look at Kame and Yamapi; I twitched when I saw them dancing in the music video for Seishun Amigo. But the story... oh, my God, it made me melt inside. My favorite is Shuji, not because Kame is handsome or anything (he's good looking, but that doesn't mean anything), but what I love is his characteristic face shape and the sheer believability of his character. Boys these days act EXACTLY like he does at home and school; it's his sincere love for people that tells him apart. Yamapi... I think he actually looks better than Kame, but he's so much funnier than Shuji ^^ I like his 'Akira Shock!' (sits cross-legged in middle of the street) and his overreactions. And Maki... wow, I love her role so much. Nobuta isn't emo; she's just shy and inexperienced. And she's lucky to be able to experience friendship in its purest form and have the chance to return it. Bando was awesome in the fourth episode, and Mariko was amazingly strong throughout the whole breakup thing. Never could I find such a great cast of characters! ... I could watch it forever, too. ^_^ |

I'm quite dissapointed by the ending. Nobuta stays alone~~ Shuji and Akira shouldnt leave her back in the old school~~ And i think the most funniest scene ish when Akira asks Nobuta to call his name softly~~ XD Yeah, "Akira Shock!" ish cool~  |
