Yes, that song was featured in Bleach season 1 as an ending song. And I adore listening to this song because the song itself is like a progress of life. Like in verse one, it starts off with "Nobody knows who I really am... who's gonna comfort me and keep me strong?", which the singer conveys her sadness for being lonely and unnoticed. As the song progresses, the change of mood suddenly becomes more hopeful and beautiful "I want you to know who I really am... I will follow you and keep you strong". The tone of the song is sad but when I listen to this song again and again, it did have a pattern. From sad to happy. That's how I felt. I am really glad Bleach used this song and also this song somehow saves me from my depressing times this week. It was a lifesaver. Also, this song strongly reminds me of Rukia (one of my fav Bleach characters cuz of her serious, dedicating yet caring personality) What's sort of in between good and bad about this song is it's half English, half Japanese--- the Japanese lines are sung very smooth and expressive and I love it but I find it's not necessary, cuz this singer can write fluent English. Why not singing this song only in English? What do you think of this song? Do you like or hate the song? Do you think this song is appropriate for Bleach? Do tell your opinions here! I love the song, personally, although it took me a while to finally listen to the entire thing and as a result, one of my favorites. Yes it does remind fans and listeners of Rukia, since she was the main character used in the ending theme of Bleach (first ending). I also adore Rukia, one of my favorite female characters or characters overall in Bleach. She's very cute, by her appearance and her personality ("...two birds with one stone"). She could've did the entire song in English. The lyrics that she spoke in English are very clear, and the entire song just lifts you off your feet. Maybe she can make some "Life is Like a Boat" English Version or something. I love the part around 2.43, when she sings high pitched. That part is also sung in English, very nice. English seems really popular in Japanese-Anime songs these days (this being a great example). This song just catches me emotionally, I just wanna dL more of her songs and maybe find out a bit about her personally. The

At first, I didn't like it very much, but after hearing it a few times and actually listening to the lyrics, it grew on me pretty fast. The english lyrics were really well written, and I think it fits the Bleach theme pretty well overall. It sounds like it was originally an english song, because of the fact that 'damn' was used in it XD But that's besides the point. I kind of like the mix of Japanese and English, but DA is right, maybe she should release an all english version ^.^ Not just the lyrics, the music is really well composed too...I love the piano background!!! I love listening to this song when I need inspiration ^^ |

I think that it is a very beautiful song. One of my favorite outros from bleach right after the 3rd ending by Younha. The song really blended both the English and Japanese really well together so I didn't think it sounded weird at all.  |

Wow, all of you guys do want this song sung in English! I wish the singer would do that, her voice simply takes me away from the real life boredom, pain and stress. Very uplifting. I don't know anything about the singer yet but I hope I have free time tomorrow. XD So tired... Yeah, I was like you guys too when listening to Life is Like a Boat for the first time, which where she sung high-pitched in TV cut of this song. I thought she ruined the song, but once I downloaded the full song, it was beautiful, after all... and the high pitched voice gives me an instant uplift--- makes me somewhat realise who I am in a appreciative, forgiving way. A spiritual song to me. Lol, 'damn' is still an english word XD Sounds awesome cuz it conveys the singer's anger for not being appreciated by anybody. I guess I'll be stuck in Bleach Season 1--- I just don't want to see Season 2 on YouTube yet XD I prefer watching Bleach on TV. The songs so far used--- Asterisk by Orange Range and this song--- are the best anime songs I've ever heard in my life. Unforgettable. |

This is i can safely say on behalf of myself the most touching song in bleach it changed the way i look at and live life the words are deep and will melt your soul away! I feel close to the song cause nobody knows who i really am i put on a show for friends just to fit in and i'm sick of it but when i listen to this song it makes me stop and enjoy life and just be myself!

This song is well writen and beautiful in tone. It expresses moods of life that I can relate to. This song to me could make me get out of my depressive state or just let me relax and enjoy the rest of my day. I'm really glad Bleach choose this as it's opening theme and to me, it really fits how Bleach starts off.
