Virtua Fighter Anime

Does anyone here watched and remembered the Virtua Fighter anime? Man that was soo long ago... But then again it was the first anime I ever watched and I really loved it. Just finding it hard to get the DVDs though...  |

The Virtua Fighter anime had a lot more potential, then again, that anime's soundtrack has introduced me to one of my favoirte singers, Vivian Hsu. I thought it was cool that it explained a character's signature move from the game, but I think they explained Jacky's Northern Lights Bomb (for you Al Snow fans here, it's the Snow Plow) way too much. All you had to say was you pick them up and drop them on their head. Also, I didn't like how the action was directed. Like mostly still shots for the fighting and no motion to it.

Yeah.. I kinda remember the slow motion replays describing the attack. Then again they take about 3 full mins to do it.. If I can recall one particular episode where Akira Yuki did lots of moves and oh well... half of the show wasted.. But it still had a great storyline to me though... Sigh.. kinda miss it.. I only can find the DVDs online though... Anyuone know of any other offline places? |

Chracter development in Virtual Fighters is poor... It's plot gets dry towards the end... I give it a 3/10. But I must agree, the opening song is catchy...
When crossing a long and high bridge, don't look down to see how deep you can fall but look straight ahead to see what's awaiting for you...

If you're a fan of the gaming series, I say give it a try just for the sake of being a fan of the gaming series.
