Obviously I'm promoting my currently favorite band XD. Here's Chatmonchy performing Ren'ai SPIRITS. The band gained a relatively wider attention when they did Daidai as an ending for BLEACH. For me, Daidai isn't really their best single, but its still great. So, are there other Gendounians familiar with their music?  |

I'm obsessed with Chatmonchy too!!!! =] I LOVE their song Sekai Ga Owaru Yoru Ni! also Tobiuo no Butterfly but all of their songs are awesome!! <3

Yep Sekai ga Owaru Yoru ni showcases Akkobin's songwriting prowess XD I covered the song as a qualifying entry for Gendou Singing Idol Season 1 gehehe. |

uwaaaaai Chatmonchy ftw~!!! +___+ I first found them from the Nano Mugen Ajikan album (I think the video Renai Spirits Erkun posted was the song...?), and I think from there just looked them up on a whim and found the ridiculous Shangri-la PV lawl~ >w< <333333 Chatmonchy lots~ definitely not the conventional "j-rock" sound, and in that genre it's mostly dominated by guys, and bands who are trying to sound like american bands, so I think definitely Chatmonchy's unique style will keep them around for a while ♥ But it's bittersweet, of course since there doesn't seem to be much hope for them coming to anime convention much less in my area buuu T 3T   |

They'll be performing at the Budokan on March. That's a solid marker for a band in Japan. |

Chatmonchy announced their scheduled performance at the Nippon Budokan during their Minagiri Tour in Zepp Tokyo, so I'm pretty sure about that. Most (music) performances in the Budokan are filmed 'officially', so I really hope that it'll be the case for this one (considering it's a major performance, most likely it will be filmed). I just remembered: YUI recently performed there. |
