Does everybody in your circle of friends like anime? Or are some of them non-anime addicts? And your thoughts about it... Me, I only have few friends that like anime..very few.Most of them are not.They don't watch anime and are non-anime addicts..Anyway I appreciate also that because I see another side of the world that is practicality,realistic things and even if you can't talk to them about anime,you can talk about everything else.But still..it's a bit umm..sad.Anyway,I talk to my friends (who like anime) all about anime when I have the chance.. This is in real life.The friends I have here in Gendou is of course..anime addicts...hehe.. You? Do you have friends that are non-anime addicts?

well i do have friends most of them now doesn't like anime, but it doesn't concern me or them, they fine with me as i with them, it's not that they hate you because you are anime fan... you are who you are, if you're good then it's good anime addicted or not it's just hobby, everyone have a hobby, and every people have different hobby, sometime you find some people have the same hobby as you and sometime you don't so what about it?? if your friends concern about that, then they are a jerk... well i must underline that the hobby is not a bad hobby like drugs etc....

You just explained 99.9%+ of my friends in high school! I have... roughly three friends that even know what anime is, instead of mentioning "DBZ." Not everybody I know watches anime. Out of all my friends, I'd say around 35% are not really into anime. The hundreds of the rest either know the basics of it or are "addicted", "enjoy it", etc.. Regardless, I love them all equally... 'cept for the ones I'm insanely tight to. ^_~` And this is for all friends, not just the ones I know in High School. The world's a very large place to find many different friends. :3

@KEY-Yeah I agree.Everyone is different and unique.They have their own likes,dislikes,preferences and hobbies.Yeah having non-anime addict friends is no problem to me and it's fine with them if I am an anime addict so..yeah if you have fun with each other's company then it's okay..there are other things that you are similar in and can get along anyway. Yeah they're jerks if they try to control or be a bad influence or try to change your hobbies or anime addictness to be the same with them.Yeah that is wrong.Your hobby is good anyway so they should just respect it and leave it alone.Thank God I have no friends that are jerks.. Hehe just my opinion...Key thanks for being the first poster! hehe.. @DA-Wow..you said your anime addicted friends based on estimated percentage! hehe nice..yeah more people are addicted to anime in highschool.When you get to college,there are few or wouldn't know the ones that are since everybody's busy or serious.Yeah as long as you love all of your friends..that don't matter.Yeah I have friends too not much addicted but enjoy it and there are that only know the existence of anime and well..respect it. Me? Hmm..maybe 80% of my friends are non-anime addicts maybe...haha don't know.I haven't seen some of them now..Yeah the world is a big place and everywhere you go..you can find a friend!Or make friends! Yeah next poster!

I had a bunch of anime & manga loving friends back in my old school, but at my current school, most people are like the popular kids I used to always avoid at my old school (which is why I barely have any friends here :P) who either don't even know what's anime, or have very limited knowledge about it. The ones who watch anime, only watches mainstream shonen animes (the ones which are insanely long & never seem to end, and that's not my thing). Well, not that I don't make friends with non-anime lovers, though (I have some at my old school & music school).   |

I have only a fill friends that aren't anime addicts... good and sad.... I can't discuss anime almost never and good cause my life can have other issues X3 And Key i think the same XDD   |

well the circle of friends i have right now is anime-addicts but the outer circle thos who i mean is not that close with me is not into anime. my bestfriends are not into anime..but that's ok since we don't fight over what one likes or dislikes

i seem to have a knack for picking out anime-lovers as friends. i currently live with an anime lover, but then again, my other roommate is not an anime-lover. so long as it's not the only thing we ever talk about, i'm fine with anime-lovers. i mean, the only time anime ever comes up is in recommendations. have never had a full conversation completely about anime... that'd be kind of ridiculous...

| hahaha, at my school it's the same. Ppl don't even realize naruto is an anime, but most of my friends are anime addicts. With a few exceptions. |

O.o Some. A lot of my friends are actually into anime and one of my closest friends is the president of the anime club at school. -_- I never go cause she always show fighting stuff to appeal to the masses. =.= However, there are some that seem to think all anime is hentai. |

I don't really have so many non-anime addict friends because it was because of them i got addicted!! But when you have friends that are anime addicts you can't seem to find anything but anime to talk about and yeah i miss my old self where anime wasn't the only topic but without anime is no fun...
