Hey, some people say that Remy is Guiles son, some say not. Whats your opinion? Here are some facts: The fact that Remy and Guile have similar fighting styles. The chance that Remys ending with his sister is Guiles daughter, Amy, from Alpha. The fact that Remy hates his dad for running out on his family. Doesnt say who. |

dude - i'd say remy reminds me of Nash/Charlie - the sonic booms are with one hand, the flash kick is similar to both him n guile - umm that special counter kick is similar to nash also - well that's what i think - in conclusion - they made remy super metrosexual haha :D |

I can't believe I found a thread about my main third strike character, I plan to be the best Remy player in the U.S., and yes, he problaby is Guile's son because of the Amy refrence and they would want to give a shoutout to Guile fans, however I find it hard to believe Guile would abandon his children. I also believe that Remy could actually be Sagat's son, I know it sounds crazy but there is the fact that Sagat WOULD HAVE abandoned his family (if he had one, that is) AFTER his defeat at the SF1 tournament which changed his life forever (the scar) because he changed so much and abandined everything for the sake of pride. Also they fight in similar ways- corner trap, and the move similarity may just be a Guile/Charlie fan refrence. Also it was Sagat who ALWAYS said he was a warrior, not Guile, and that is Remy's biggest qaurum with his Dad according to the SF3 storyline. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remy_%28Street_Fighter%29 Capcom denies the rumor that he is related to Guile OR Charlie. Just like how Yun is older than Yang. |

Whoa, so who is his Dad? Sagat? |

Whoa, hold up. Sagat had a family? And a son, to boot? Where's this information coming from? |

We have no verifiable evidence except what we see in the endings and the information exchanged before the fights, so these are all theorys based on the small facts we have. Anyhow, Remy hated his Dad because he wanted to be a "warrior" above all else, and Sagat's big line after the Ryu defeat was about "being a true warrior". It's in like every game. That's where I draw the Dad connection from. And its a generally passed around fact on places like gamefaqs that Sagat abandoned everything after the first Ryu defeat which gave him the physical scar, and this is based on his mental scarring that came with that which is apparent in SF alpha games and after SF1 (he becomes very different from his SF1 personality which few have actually seen, which was actually much like Ryu is today!). I'm assuming he WOULD have abandoned his family too if he had one, and I should have made it clear that I meant if he DID have a family. And Remy also fights in SF3 just like Sagat in SF2, with a corner trap, and I think it's a clue from the programmers. Again, it's all theory. |
