anyone know a good live action movie adaptation? im looking for one to watch and buy and i wanna make sure its good! i'd also like to hear your thoughts on whether movie directors should try doing this sort of thing, if you even like them or not, or whether they should turn live action movies and programs into anime!- or have they allready done that?

i'm not a fan of live action that much and i only know a few titles... How about hana yori dango? i really love it, thanks to my sister who forced me to watch it. it's not a movie though but you'll get addicted to it in no time:P |

well in my opinion live action derived from anime is more of fan service rather than artistic expression... i mean they're just making money out of a cool anime series and add some bishonen/bishojo leads to attract non anime fans well so far the best ive seen is hana yori dango got attracted to it cuz the lead girl is cute...er wait! damn! i fell for it!hahahaha >.< |

Its Hana Kimi for me. worksafe life action series. Its really nice but i've only watched the Taiwan version... don't know about the Japanese version though..

| I really don't even know how anyone can say anything is better than the Nodame Cantabile LA. If only Hana Yori Dango didn't suck it up in the second season, it would be pretty good. And Gokusen or GTO would be the second best LA I can think of. |

nodame cantabile! death note gokusen hana yori dango i would like to add hana kimi but oguri shun was not good as sano.. but ikuta toma and maki horikita did well. |

Death note i guess.... Most live-action derived from animes are mostly adult materials, so not many comments here.....

OMG..there are actually SOOOO many!!! -Hana yori dango -Meteor Garden (the chinese version of hana yori dango.. is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! you HAVE to watch it!!! Zaizai(vic zhou) is just SOOOO hot!!!!! *drools*...*dies*) -Hana Kimi -Gokusen -Death Note -Sailor moon (and yes..i watched it!! loll and it was SOO awesome!! hehehehe!! ^-^) -Great teacher Onizuka (i think that's how it's spelt..never actually finished watching it but from what i watched, it was really good :D )

Nodame Cantabile!!!!!!!!! Hana Yori Dango (but i've only seen a couple episodes of the actual anime) Honey & Clover (dunno ..yet...still just started airing..they could at least dye Hagumi's hair & eyebrows blonde!)  |

Hana Yori Dango I and II Meteor Garden I and II [wow sum1 likes vic zhou here x33] Gokusen I and II <33 GTO [tagalog version sucks x3] Death Note *_* my list is kinda similar to theirs...

The only one I've seen is a Detective Conan live action, set before Conan turned little. I though it was pretty good.

I may be the only one here watching it but i'm really liking the Negima! live action....oh & YES!!! i agree with FA-san!!! I loved the Sailormoon live action as well.....  |

| i think initial d the movie is ok for me. (since i like cars) the storyline is simple but effective. making it a great hit. |
