hmm... erk.. I say NOT!!! w/o teh existence of Rukia... the entire Bleach series won't also exist... hmm... Rukia's holding almost EVERYTHING that makes teh series together... facts: +She was the reason why Ichigo become a shinigami in the first place +She also holds the Hougyoku which Aizen needs... +Renji would not have been a shinigami if he didn't met her... erk... I think I forgot about the part of being Byakuya's adopted sister... erk... hmm... so... there... (gods I wish all what had I wrote here ish correct)

true rukia is important, but if you think again she only needed is just the first part of the series, why ichigo become shinigami, then the hougyoku, then why ichigo goes to soul society, but after that, her existence and importance seem cease, right now inoue is on the spot

Well, even if it's true that she's not as important as she was in the beginning...she's still needed to make Ichigo into a shinigami to make the series even start, i guess XP And so on and so forth. So yeah, I think she's needed. |

Ichigo needs Rukia, even to this day. You can't throw away someone that significant who made you who you are. And about the Hougyoku, Aizen already has it so technically if you wanna use that piece of information, you wouldn't need Rukia there anymore. But if you want to throw away Rukia and take her out of the picture, then a lot of other important characters would also be taken out of the image as well. But I love Rukia, so yeah, I still want her involved in everything as she is now!

Yes, Rukia started everything. Unfortunately, she's not as important now as before (role taken by Orihime, lol). But with her in the series everything's more entertaining, something like eye-candy.  |

I do agree with most the forumers here but lately Rukia doesnt seemed to live up to her name... Actually it doesnt even make any difference wether if Rukia exists later in the story or not..

I think it's better to have Kuchiki Rukia in the anime'. There's no story if Rukia is not there- you know! But then, on the other hand, I want her out of the anime- she's just(you know) a weak death god! Also, she's always the one needed to be saved!  |
