How many of you have had these problems? How many 360's have you gone through? For me I had two rrod's so far, one of them I replaced the next day, but the next one. Dear god I had to wait SEVEN MONTHS for the dang thing. Apparently the time it died was around the same time they were being recalled and replaced. So I had to wait until december for a new one. Over that period of time, I eventually called microsoft and I was going to get a refund. My dad called the next day and after what seemed like hours of shouting at the retarded phone computer voice thing, we got ahold of a customer support representative, who actually had a BRAIN, and managed to get us a new one. So, what's your story? |

I've had mine since December of last year, and no problems so far. Also it's called Red Rings of Death, not Red Red. |

I had mine since last september and no ring of death so far, which I am actually pretty glad about. On the other hand, i know some dude in the chugworth chat who had his box since september too and he had to replace it TWICE. This convinced me to buy one of those stands for the xbox with fans sometime soon. Not this month though, I have already spend too buch money on christmas presents and other stuff and I DO have to eat and drink and stuff. Not to mention the the phone bill that has yet to be paid and the bill for the newspaper too (got my december paicheck already before christmas. looks like noone from accounting wanted to work between christmas and new years eve). |

I haven't had a RRoD yet, and I'm probably overdue for one *jinxed*. |

When i bought the day the 360 first came out i was stuck with one, it was rrod plus overheated like a brick of magma, the 2nd one i exchanged with warranty a couple months later was another rrod but it scratched up my discs with the circular outlines so then i just gave it back to company for money back. i waited a while until the elite came out and now ive been happy with no problems. |

There is one way of reviving your xbox 360 and that is by : OVERHEATING Its risky, but its the only way in reviving your xbox 360. My cousin has one that has a ring of death, but he said its no big. He just wrap his xbox 360 in 2 big towels and turn it on, after 3 mins or more, he then turn it on again. And viola, the xbox 360 is ready to use again. But just as I said earlier, its risky so its up to you if you are going to do this procedure.
