Lol...this is a very opinionated question ahahahaha some would say final fantasy series...not that i don't like it I would say suikoden series(more like suikoden V really, best of the 3 for ps2) Some may say disgaea some may say odin's sphere =) Indeed, there are always others...which people like more then what i put up.  |

These guys worked very hard to create that list, and not just to "appear on a "Best # games ever" list." I also think that you can't just create that list, or any list for that matter, simply by reading other statistics and making them your own. Game reviewers and writers such as these (IGN for example) work at gaming corporations and such, and are committed to games! It's their life work and they earn a living studying and researching games; of course they're going to be playing these games for themselves. If you want a user's opinion, that's fine too and I'll give you one of my own... I think "Shadow of the Colossus" is one of the PS2's best hits and definitely a top contender. I enjoyed playing this game numerous times and there's just so many things that make the game great. The gameplay was exciting although sometimes I would get "stuck" in certain situations, literally. The music and background themes for this game were really intriguing as well. Whenever you'd encounter one of the Colossi, the music just takes your off your feet and right into the battle, depending on your volume level. ;P The artwork and graphics were really fun as well. The Colossus, at first glance, simply had me in awe the first time. One thing that I also found interesting about this game is fans competing without online play. The time mode feature in the game is where you'd have to defeat each of the Colossi either the fastest to your ability, or before the time limit they give to you. I've seen members on other sites, blogs, messaging online boards, etc. sharing and competing with each other. I also enjoyed the weapons you could unlock to use against the Colossi (for fun). the top rpg ps2 game....that is kind of hard to decide since there is alot of good rpg's for the ps2 like rogue galaxy valkyrie profile shadow of the colossus tales of series final fantasy Disgaea odin sphere wild arms series makai kingdom there's alot but i don't know which one is the best rpg
