I'm looking for new music... I hate country and hip hop... I like classic rock, alternative, indie and punk rock...I also like some ska.... O AND I ABSOLUTELY HATE POP!!!

Kiss, Aerosmith, Johnny Cash, Queen, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd. All you need. There are others, but these are the big names that everyone seems to like. For my Japanese stuff I listen to the insert-songs from Honey and Clover. I don't know how big these guys are in Japan, but their stuff is quite good. To name them, Suga Shikao, Spitz. G'luck. |

um... you probably love pop and not know it. American/British bands that have not been mentioned The Beatles The Doors The Who The Velvet Underground The Kinks Frank Zappa Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band Talking Heads The Pixies Sonic Youth The Clash The Ramones and of course... the best popular rock band of today: Radiohead and by the way "indie" does not refer to any particular sound. It simply refers to bands that are signed under an independent label or the general "indie scene", with the rise of bands like the Strokes, Interpol, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, etc. into the mainstream. as for Japanese bands that might be to your liking Bazra Sparta Locals Fuji Fabric The Back Horn The Pillows The Brilliant Green Yeah i don't know too many good Japanese bands - -;; I highly recommend all these bands... you might find music that's more specific to your liking through these bands |
