Have you ever created your own manga or anime?

If you ever made a manga (or took it one step further and animated it) Advertise it here. I think it's cool that you created something yourself, and it makes sense to show it to the world! I'm currently working on an anime called "Yozora" about a kid who feels he has a connection with night and darkness (Yozora, when written as "夜空" means night sky, for those who don't know) But enough about me, I want to see what you guys got. Be proud and let your work be known!

hmm, nice~ I'm just planning to work on my own anime soon.. but still don't got time so yeah. Its pretty much needed alot of time. |

Yeah i started one when i was in high school...probably when i was about 16 or 17 years old. I worked on it for close to 4 or 5 years....changing alot of it since my artstyle improved over the years. It was supposed to be a 3 volume series divided into chapters. Each volume consisted of around 20 'issues'..with maybe 3 chapters in each. So yeah it was a pretty big project. The first volume is pretty much completed but it was my very early manga style..so it was a tad rough & honestly not very well planned out. The 2nd volume was much better but i stopped half-way....have yet to resume doing it. For some reason i don't have it in me to finish it.....i guess since i'm MUCH older now i kinda figured what was the point. I didn't recieve much encouragement from others so if nobody really cared....*sigh* I still draw but not to that extent anymore...so it'll probably gather dust. For those curious the story was entitled (tentatively) "Destiny's Eternal"....it was sort of in the same lines as Magic Knight Rayearth. Each volume followed the story of how one girl actions changed destiny & the consequences that follows the ones closest to her. The villians were (again tentaively) 'The Apocalypse'....which consisted of the 4 horsemen & the 'Masaya'....who wanted to destroy (purify) the world to begin anew. There were some biblical aspects in the story....i read the Bible for references to use. There are some plot holes that caused some problems for me.....another reason i stopped. Anyways i guess that is the jist of it.....a dream of mine slowly slipping away....oh well. These can be seen at my profile but this was my main character...Yuri. The colored one was her early looks...the other her final look (some ToHeart influences).    |

I created a doujinshi a few long years ago. I remember finishing it, although I have no idea where it is anymore. D:

I have random ideas scattered all over the house...but I never really started to draw them out =/ It's been my dream for a while now to create my own manga...and hopefully I'll get to create a series in my lifetime =] |

Haha yeah, I've been doing that since I was 11. It's pretty fun. A lot of work but fun. |

yeah, i've tried making my own manga, though i lack patience and feel embarassed once discovered someone was reading it. (I posted it online before) ...Then i deleted it...as i feel ashamed comparing to other's work (yes, i have an issue on self esteem when it comes to drawing) i haven't make an animation before, dunno how =P |

Yup, I started working on a manga about 2 years ago? but... I forgot about it... Til now. xD I suppose I'll have to work on it again... or start over D: |

I did made a manga in summer 2005 entitled "New York Armageddon"... but I haven't continued due to final exams. DX I don't know whether I should rescript the story or just scrap the whole manga :( There's another one I did which entitled "Sibling Rivalry", a manga that I submitted for Tokyopop Rising Stars of Manga '06. I did not win though, obviously... but heck, I tried ^_^ In my experience, manga is fun and challenging to do, but the worst part is, once the work becomes less frequent, everything begins to fall off. Delays, writer's block, whatever that stops me from continuing the work. -_- But still, in the end, it is always fun to do ^_^ |

Hmm, Actually I do make one ( Manga ). I hope It'll become a real Anime in future. It's kind of funny, you know. Choose your Theme song and make the character ( Not Easy, but Happy ).

| I have a few but haven't gotten far in any of them.....One is called Dragonsphere but the story keeps changing. Only the main character is ready....maybe. |

If you guys really want to do this, go for it. Never throw away ideas, they may come back bigger and better. Don't be too embarrassed if someone reads it. If they like it, then you're doing pretty well. If you can't draw find someone who can. I can't draw well enough to present it and try to make it look professional, so I found the best artist in school who is excited to do this. Keep going!
