help with a puzzle

I'm stuck in one of my games with this puzzle You have a digital clock that shows the time of day. How many minutes per day does the clock have the same number three or more times in a row? (for example: '1:11' would count). Note that it is a regular clock, and not a military-time clock. Hint: dont forget thigs like 10.00 and 11.10 and remember there are 24 hours in a day so all answers are times by 2 Thats all your given in the question. I've tried many different answers but I cant get it can you help me please? |

I don't somewhat get what the question mean but if its... hmm.. so a day is only 24hrs. so just twice I guess.. 3:33 am and pm right? |

Nope I tried it didnt work If were thinking that way then would 2.22am and pm be and answer to so there would be at least 4 times there would be 3 numbers the same on the display. right maybe If I write out all of the possibilites and maybe you could check to see if you could think of any more AM PM 0.00 01.11 01.11 02.22 02.22 03.33 03.33 04.44 04.44 05.55 05.55 10.00 10.00 11.10 11.10 11.11 11.11 11.12 11.12 11.13 11.13 11.14 11.14 11.15 11.15 11.16 11.16 11.18 11.17 11.19 11.18 11.19 Thats all that I can think of thanks for your help miko Is that what you meant link so 33 possibilites thanks for helping |

Most clocks dont display 00:01, it would say 12:01, so remove those from the list. Other than that I dont see any other possibilities.  |

Only two tries? Is this an internet thing? If so clear your history and try again. I remembered another number that would work, 12:22. So it could be 34 if you are counting both AM and PM. |
