A friend of mine beat the game a day before me and told me that Crisis core answered all of the questions about FF7, but i dunno about u guys but I was left with a thousand new questions such as: What is Cissinei's real name? Whatever happened to Genesis? Who were those two Elite Soldiers who retrieved genesis that we never see again? (And even funnier, i had a pheonix feather above my head so if zack really was killed then he should have sprung back to life again lmao!) If you guys know any answers I'd appreciate it... Thanks -fumafuma

well i haven't played crisis core, but i can tell you one thing, they covered up the hole but dug another^^ and about the phoenix feather, it's just like FFX the final battle you cannot die because all the party have phoenix feather, but what do you know some of them go on to another life ^^ it's just part of the story ^^ even the system denied it, but if the story said so, the story win^^ |

I finished it a few days ago....with one day of mass playing about 12hrs worth. So i'll give my impressions of what i think the answers to your questions are. remember these are just my ideas & could be totally wrong. Cissinei's real name is a tough one. I think you have to play the mobile game Before Crisis to find out who she really is. She is a member of the Turks so their identities are mostly kept hidden. My guess she has to have some connection with Zack either from the same hometown or maybe a long lost relative or something. If you played Dirge of Cerberus & is able to get the Special ending you see that Genesis was awakened from his slumber after the defeat of Weiss. It appears that those two are 'brothers'. Which brings me to the next question. One of the elite soldiers has to Weiss the main villian in Dirge of Cerberus. Weiss is the guy who created Deepground who used to be a member of SOLDIER. I think he knew Genesis & himself are one of the same. Like Sephiroth & Angeal.... The feather on top of your head is 'reraise'...unlike other Final Fantasy games if you use the phoenix down on yourself a feather appears on top of your head giving you the reraise ability. However every time you die you have to use another to keep the ability up. VERY IMPORTANT WHEN FIGHTING the optional boss in the game Minerva. It took me 35 mins to kill her & i used up 40 of my phoenix downs. Minerva can kill you with one hit if you don't block her ULTIMA spell....died so many times cause i was too slow to block that move. |

1. Cissinei doesn't have a real name I believe (at least it was never given to her because the player never finds out.). In FF Before Crisis she's just referred to as Female (Shuriken) or something like that, like most of the other characters in that game. She was just taken out of Before Crisis (randomly I would assume) and given the name Cissinei for Crisis Core. I could be wrong, maybe her real name is mentioned somewhere, but I've never seen it in any game. 2. Like Izumo said. There's some stupid secret ending in DOC where Genesis is shown carrying away Weiss's body and saying that their work isn't done yet. To me it just sounds like their planning ANOTHER sequel, and I swear I'll storm Square-Enix if they do. I personally throw out this secret ending and count it as non-canon. 3. Weiss is one of the 1st Class Soldier's seen, the other is Nero, another character and boss from DOC who seems to be connected to Weiss and Genesis. If you check the voice cast list during the credits their listed there. The Phoenix Down item revives a character from KO (Knock Out), the character isn't technically 'Dead' per se. The English belief (Possibly just a gamer belief in general) is that a character dies when their health hits zero, but their really just unconscious and unable to keep fighting. It's a misconception in a lot of RPG's. (I might be mistaken about this last part, correct me if I am.) |
