guys...if u know the answers please post them here. Tnx!!! 1. where DOES sanzo keep his fan? he seems to be carrying it wherever he goes... 2. what are their religions anyway? sanzo's a buddhist monk, i think hakkai's a catholic ( not sure) but what about the others? 3. won't sanzo's credit card reach its limit? aren't the ones who's paying it complaining? 4. do hakkai and goku smoke? i've seen a couple of pics but i'm not sure if it's genuine... 5. how many cigarettes do sanzo and gojyo use everyday? 6. and what kind? 7. what kind of glue does hakkai use to keep his monocle balanced on his nose?? and where can i buy one? (",) 8. why won't gojyo just cut off his "antennae" so goku won't tease him and call him a cockroach? 9. in what year/time are they really living in?? they have computers, credit cards, but they have dragons and sorcery as well... 10. why don't the producers of the show answer these questions ( and more)? do they want it to remain a mystery, or are they planning to answer these sometime soon? @_@ wah...confused!!!...@_@

I only read the manga and it's quite incomplete here... And btw im reading Saiyuki Reload and not Gensomaden thingy... Aniwae the answers to some of your question... Btw i just THOUGHT of theses answers a while ago... plain guessing... 1) I suppose he keeps it in his robes... He can't be using it as a hairclip rite? 2) Hakkai can't be catholic because he did lots of sins once... Maybe he picked up catholic after that... Gojyo a free-thinker i think... and Goku should have no religion cos he's like 500 years old something like that... 3) It's porbably and unlimited value card... It's not your regular AMEX or DBS credit card... aniwae I would love one of these... 4) oh yeah they both smoke! PASSIVE smokers... 5) err i dunno... probably 10 PACKETS a day? 6) Sanzo's first cigarette was Marlboro... It appeared in the BURIAL chapter... So i reckon he stuck to that... 7) Maybe Super Glue? Oh you can buy those at any book store! 8) Maybe gojyo think his antennae attracts girls? 9) I suppose they are living in Ellone's era... (Ellone from FF8) So i guess she did the time compreesion thing... Now everything's mixed up... 10) Why they don't show? NO ONE'S ASKED!!! hope i helped! =)  |

um...I've seen the series, I actually own part of it right now. 3) I think the card belongs to the Sanbutshin and they don't say anything because they probably don't actually know how much Sanzo has spent. 7)...maybe it's magic. 9)it might be because of girls, or the artist just wanted Goku to be able to make fun of Gojyo.

Hakkai grew up in a monastery run by Catholic nuns. It was shown in the anime although not elaborated. I guess that's where you got the idea that Hakkai is Catholic? But um, I don't think it was ever specified as to what religions they have. 4. do hakkai and goku smoke? i've seen a couple of pics but i'm not sure if it's genuine... >>>> Haven't seen them smoke in the anime and in the few chapters of the manga that I've read. It actually serves as some comic relief whenever they referred to it as such. Actually, you will find the answers to most of your questions if you check out the extra info on the DVD's. Alternately, do some research on the actual myth. You'll probably end up with more questions, but at least the one you have will either be answered or rendered moot. ^_^ Sumeragi sei is right, tho. This anime is a re-telling of a popular Chinese and Japanese myth with a whole load of Artistic Liscence taken to make it new, fresh and maybe more palatable for a younger generation. It's Fiction and, more importantly, Animation. Why should the artist care where Sanzo gets his fan? Why should we? I think Goku probably ought to worry about it, but otherwise it's all part of the fun. Don't take it too seriously or you could end up like Prince Nataku. ^_^ I do believe I've heard the Sanbutshin complain once or twice about the Credit Card debt. As to religion... well we all know Sanzo, obviously. Knowing the Catholic church, growing up in a convent pretty much dictates that Hakkai would know alot about catholics. Does he necessarily believe it all? Don't know. Doubt it. He would find it hard to reconcile becoming a demon and being a catholic. Since he's not actively seeking an exorcist, and considering the way he believes he became a demon, I think he's a Buddhist too. Growing up in the convent is a neat bit of dark humor/ karma from his last life, tho. :P Gojyo is half demon, and Goku is somewhere between Demon and God. Do they even need to have a religion? Prolly not. Goku smoking? o.o Must've been a publicity stunt! Sanzo would smack him SO Hard! ^.^

I say play the game on the PS1 or read the manga. the anime is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy mor diff than the real thing.

I heard Kanzeon Botatsu gave it to him and threatened to terminate if the Snazo-ikkou did not do her an Errand.. as for question 9 Sanzo said it was the celestial times I also have one question.. Can someone show pics of Hakeyru's previous incarnation 500 years ago...
