For me i love math.. i know integral and differential calculus but when u do the application of this... but you need this math to solve differential equation.. T_T |

i'm student no more but i'd like to join you in your endeavours. ahahahah... i know a simple math could be beneficial to my daily life but calculus, and such, arrrgghh... it will be useful if i would be a professional researcher, economic analyst, etc. but i'm not. that's why it hurts having a failed mark in calculus, and taking the course again sometime during summer break, when right now even a simple logarithmic equations is not beneficial to my growth.  |

okay... i'm off now... what is the different between calculus and math... even in my won language i wouldn't have know because whenever the teacher gave out questions or something new... i just look for p[articular equation and solution that might work for the problems.. and that all i did, without knowing what kind of math... (nah, numbers) i count.. @sai... that game really clever

Hate! ^^; Anyway, on a lighter note, it's summer so I don't have to think about math! =.= Cept I already signed up for Probability and Statistics for next school year, senior year. =.= I decided to skip Calculus even though I took Pre-Calculus cause, yeah, I don't like math too much. So maybe if I'm having difficulty in Prob and Stat (-.- Which is supposed to be easy, but considering how I am with numbers....) I'll come to this thread for help if its still alive.^^ |

Well lets start with the basics shall we... Algebra is the mathematical study of a particular kind of structure: a structure created by taking a set of (usually numeric) values, and combining it with some operations operate on values of the set. One of the simplest examples of a kind of algebra is a simple group. A group a pair (G,*) where G is a set of values, and "*" an an operation on values in G such that: 1. Closure: For all a,b ∈ G, a*b∈G. 2. Associativity: For all a,b,c ∈ G, a*(b*c)=(a*b)*c 3. Identity: There is a value i∈G such that for all a∈G a*i=i*a=i. 4. @wakoko ............... yeah I don't understand one bit.... really.... @kay... I don't understand yours either... well a bit but missing some part that might answer the problems.. like i understand if 2+2x=0 then x=-1
