Hey I just started a blog with my friend and we plan on writing about anime and manga. I just put the first real post written by me and we would like some feedback. so if you could please head over to http://mattandrashad.blogspot.com and leave some opinions it would be greatly appreciated. It's not that bad to start... but I'm not really into these types of animes. :P Though, I'll tell you what I think: I think you could've included more detail into shorter summarization phrases in your review (kinda like Wiki). A few parts are just comparing this story, to Astro Boy. I didn't feel much for your intro and how you ended this article. The intro really didn't grab my attention to be honest. You have to be able to do this when people who don't know any of these series comes by. With what I said about more detail, I want you to show me that you really know this series well (not saying you don't). Be more assertive, more authority. Persuade fans of this genre to get into this series and why they should. Though starting on this project is only step one. Just revise a few things around and I think you guys can do it. Nice job. I hope you guys don't flame me or anything. My opinion are only what I think you guys can change and improve on. :3

Well thank you for your insight. Don't worry I wouldn't ask for feedback if I didn't want to hear about what we could improve on in future post. I'll make sure to include more detail, it's just kind of tricky to do that for that series without spoiling things in it. |

It doesn't grab my attention so much or anyone reading it. i wouldnt speak for others if i were you... :) tho devils-angel is not incorrect to say some of those other things. you could DEF improve on anything, as NOTHING on earth is perfect. Therefore, there is always room for improvement. however, I think you're off to a good start. I wish I had the patience and creativity to do blogging haha, so I know I'll be checking in on your blog once in a while, so keep it updated! click here to see it. ^^^^^^^^that^^^^^^^ was just so i have an easier-access for me, so i wont have to copy and paste the URL every time i check up on this thread see ya, and keep at it! |

lol, I made a typo there and included other people. I only meant to talk about myself, though not sure why I typed that out, sorry. :P I'm interested to see some other series you're doing. Have any others so far?

Well my Friend should have put up his piece on Blade of Heaven, his writing style is much different from my own so maybe his style will attract the attention of different people. I'm planning on doing something in the next couple of days. Once again I'd like to thank both of you for your feedback. |

i dont see anything bad about the bloggie but like everyone sed u can still improve! gambatte ne! ill check by ur blog from time to time to check updates *_* anythign about manga/anime is interesting for me anyway wakakakaka!

Do you still want a another person into your blog? :> (may i join?) I am not very frequent in updating so owning an own blood for me isn't a great idea. And I think we pretty much have two completely different scopes of radar of stuff we want to feature well it just a proposition anyways -.^ Good Luck with your blogging xD Now a bit of comment: your latest post about Persona 4 is quite lacking. when you suggest a title to someone make sure to give enough paragraphs to show why the person should waste 100+ of his hours on something YOU think is worthwhile I believe that is how blogging works in an extent :3 but I like how you weren't biased on your features, if it were me featuring that I would probably condemn every other opinion lolz (joking xP)

@Darky The Persona 4 post was more of an update than an actual post, but I know what you mean. I was just really tired and plan on writing a real post about that later on. Also if you want to join the blog, pm me and we can talk. |

Ah, I figured that was just his own Blog and not the partnership one he was talking about. Alright, let's see then. Also, I think I'll send a PM your way Matt C. I'll try and do up some work for you to look at. I like to voice my opinions on something, however my recent attempts with the Gendou TV shows didn't go well mainly because I sound like completely monotone on a mic and on video I freeze up. Persona 4 was a short and simple little blurb, you said it was simply an update so there isn't much I can say on that except that if you want to see JRPG grinding, then you have to play Disgaea 3. Izumo got me hooked on that and I've spent roughly 150 hours easy getting myself to a meager level 460 (level cap is 9999, hence the 'meager' part). The only other one there that I took initial interest in was the SFIV post. Nothing I can really agree or disagree with, it was a good post and your point was only to talk about the sticks they market. I do agree that MadCatz likes to add Fight on to things, it's like a catch phrase to them. Street Fighter 4 is available on arcade machines though, I have seen them in the Qore episode where SFIV was featured but getting to actually play one is unlikely over here since arcade machines aren't as popular as they used to be. The only people buying the super expensive tournament sticks are the hardcore Street Fight fans, the ones that were lined up waiting for this game and arguing about balance and strategies before the game even launched. The less expensive one is for the enthusiastic fighting gamers who have experience with the arcade generation of fighters but are not spending their entire life devoted to the pursuit of speed runs through the hardest mode of every Street Fighter. How else can you justify dropping 150 bucks on a plastic board with a joystick? -I agree a little with DA's comment on really showing the fact you know the series well (whenever you are talking about a series that you do in fact know) however I also have to say to DA that you need to make sure to strike a balance. If you start talking too much about the series when you know it well then you may let some things slip or come off as a little biased. Although I want to read a post from someone who has played a game, watched the show or read the manga, I don't want to read a post from someone who emphasizes the fact that he knows every detail of it because when you come off that way, you may seem like your imposing the feelings you hold on others. All my own personal view of course, other people might feel differently about this. I think I got all turned around there. Anyway, there needs to be a balance, that's what I'm getting at. |
