I wonder what I'd do if I saw a 40 year old listening to anime music... :0 I turn 21 in an hour or so. Glad to see im not among the geezers, heh. ;p |

I'm turning 19 this year...but I still feel young. ^_^ Seeing or hearing about 30ish and above people listening to anime music and watching anime sounds cute to me. I've never heard or seen anyone though. |

Happy Birthday Humblemonkey! ^_^ I wonder why it should be surprising that people enjoy Anime and anime music after they turn 30. I became a fan as a kid too. :) While the recent boom in anime, manga and music popularity and availability is fairly new (and Mana from heaven, I might add), these are not new media. Anime and anime fans were around long before many of you were in diapers. It's not something you grow out of. And as we all know, there's plenty of anime not aimed at children. I know many anime fans that are much older than me... tho not sure if they come here... probably do. :D Just thought I'd put a word in for all us old farts. ^_^ ps: it occurs to me to wonder who it is importing, translating and even at times creating all this great stuff: Aging Anime fans!

Wow...I feel so *old* reading this forum...o.O I agree with neko and shards of ice. Anime wasn't made just for 12 year old screaming fan girls. :-P "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the h*** happened."  |
