There are a lot of horror Animes around and didn't see a topic for this so sorry if this is a copy anyway I was wondering what was the scariest Anime you've ever watched? Mine would probably be Higurashi no naku koro ni but it's a great series. |

well. . for some anime i've ever watch i also think that's Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is the scariest one especially in the "Meakashi~hen" But, maybe the next anime series (Umineko no Naku Koro Ni / When they are cry 3) will be the scariest??  |

It's Higurashi for me what makes it scary is the thrill of the show itself, mysterious and creepy, cold-blood murderers with innocent faces, just have to love it ^^

Yes!!!! Is really THAT scary! My friend watched the last 2nd file (each story is a "file") in the daytime (while I watched at night, in a dark room with lights off... I nearly wanted to give up watching...) and still she was freaking out!! (and she's not the sort who freaks out that easily...) Before I watched that anime... I never thought anime can be THAT scary... higurashi scares me too but this... this is something of a different level. Sadly, the last file wasn't as For those who like scary anime... this is really one to watch... I'm not sure those real life horror flicks fans will like it... but I sure freaked me out... though I'm so tempted to re-watch the series... but maybe dropping that file out. PS: every episode has it's scary parts... and they are..well.. pretty freaky... but the last 2nd file is just... too much! I'm gona get nightmares even thinking about it! |

i absolutely LOVE higurashi no naku koro ni. but i cant think of an anime that has really scared me, one that disturbs me is paranoia agent though, creeeeeepy.

| Guess mine would be Higurashi no Naku Koro ni / Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. I don't think it was scary though. I think it is a good show though. The first time I watched Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was when I was 10 years old. |

Yeah. So far, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is the only anime that's been able to unnerve me. Besides Lilium of Elfen Lied, of course. UNNERVE. That's an interesting way to put it. x3  |

I have doubts whether I should watch Higurashi or not... Ahh well I have the DVD of it, but I havent watched it yet... XD I prefer comedy animes rather than scary ones... But I'll give it a shot anyways~ XD  |
