Static Subs, DB, Rumbel, AFK, Chihiro, BBS/Anon. Most of these or maybe all, are for quality rather than speed. I'm not too bothered when i get them tbh. Most of the time i'm playing catch up on shows anyways. |

Eclipse is cool, and I also really like GG (they've got some funny jokes on their site, like comparing MGS4 characters to Code Geass R2 characters). Plus, I don't know how, but GG teamed up with TakaJun from mirrormoon to do the Kara no Kyoukai movies, and for that, they are awesome.

Too add, Lunar is not bad if I can remember correctly. Other lesser known ones like Ayako, m.3.3.w. continues to get better for such a young group, nobody's mentioned a.f.k.!? They're one of my favorites, definitely one of the best. Ummm, Shinsen Subs aren't so bad, I like their style. Other common ones like Baka-World, Chihiro's not so bad, loved Mahora (for Negima!? personally), etc. A lot of them are abbreviated so I have forgot most of their full meanings, but yeah. There's a lot of excellent fansubs that get overshadowed because they mostly do a few anime. I'd mention a few but there might be quite a list (if I even remember more than a dozen of 'em or so). But yeah, basically most of my favorite ones are pretty common to some degree. ------- |

Oh, well if you want to include past favorite fansub groups, then yeah, definitely a.f.k., Lunar, and Ayako. Lately though the only one that's releasing any shows that I've cared about is Lunar, and they've been really behind compared to other groups, even if they do a good job.
