I never watch this, but maybe Honey and Clover is a good choice... Because maybe the storyline is similar to the anime...  |

watch Norwegian Wood and Time Traveller. Norwegian wood is a really good Japanese movie. It was originally written by Haruki Murakami and they made a movie base on his book.

Animewise (by that I mean they're animated, like an anime, not CG), I'd prefer The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, The Place Promised In Our Early Days, Summer Wars & 5 Centimeters Per Second. They are all not based from any anime series, meaning they're all fresh animated movies. Live action, I'll go for the live-action movies from animes like, Paradise Kiss, Honey & Clover... what the hell, why not all the live-action movies from animes?  |
