Well,I did converted some psone game to psp,but with so much problems,I had given up... Games I tried: Persona 2 Eternal Punishment-Crashes during boss fight with Joka on the zeppelin.Sometime during random battles. FFVIII-2nd disc.Boss fight with garden master Norg Star Ocean second story- Crash when the game become really hectic. You know, when your party start spamming spells and stuff. Breath of Fire 4-White screen. I tried most of the converter available.Seems like the psp is the problem, not enough speed to handle these games. Now i'm waiting for star ocean remakes |

I agree with saRay. Converting these games might break your PSP. Besides, its missing its L2 & R2 buttons. How can you play those games without it. Anyway, its really a problem to put those games to psp. Its better to stick to PC emulators.

If you get PS1 games for the PSN store it will likely run on its most recent firmware. But if you are talking about converting one... It is a tad bit complex... You'll need a custom firmware... Meaning you'll have to mod your psp... So do you still want to do this? I'll tell you right now... It's hard... The worst thing that could happen if you modified your PSP is getting it bricked... (Yes... I am playing Grandia and Megaman Legends right now from a modified PSP...) Note: The L2 and R2 buttons are automatically assigned to the analog stick (Left for L2 and right for R2)... Recent updates have been released so that you can assign buttons... I don't know if the official firmware has it... But the popsloader that I am using has one... Currently this list displays the problems that PSX emulated games has on the PSP Usually the only way to "Fix" certain bugs ingame is to save occasionally then switch versions of popsloader to get past through that bug Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

(I really need to make a new readable avatar for me...) I converted one myself to an EBOOT file and so far it runs fine on custom firmware 4.01 m33-2 Planning to edit it again though. I made a sloppy presentation of the icon and background. I wanted it to run with icon animations and a background music but its too much of a hassle. Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Uhh..Sorry about reading your avatar wrong...>,< Anyways..Why dont you just find the icons on the net? I remember a while back I saw icons for PSone games on some site.Ill try finding the link again when I have the time. God..I want Megaman Legends so bad by now. |

Well, there is an application that I was told which modifies the usual thumbnail size of 144x80 to a fixed square shaped icon. (I think it is the new version of psx2psp) Still, adding the bgm (.at3) and icon animation (.pmf) will prove to be a hassle since there is a required file size for the game display. (and currently I don't have the applications for the latter) Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

i'd Download the PSX rom & have the Program icetea or a different program that can convert PSX games to ISOZ plus i'd get the New update, been hearing 4.01 is so far super special awesomly smexy cause no problems were found with PSX games, plus if you have a POPS loader you shouldn't have a problem ;D |

When putting PSX games top PSP, make sure that the iso is working perfectly in the PSX PC emulator. If you downloaded PSX games that has PBP file format. You can convert it to ISO using "PSXstrip.exe" and this program is the easiest way to rip ISO out of the PBP file.

light, i can definately tell you how to work your PSX games on PSP, but that depends on what games your playing opn it cause it varies w/ different games & there's problems with them on psp, plus if you have a POPS loader it makes it much easier |
