whatcha think of dragonquest IV, V, & VI coming to america? i think it's great cause people can finally know what dragonquest is ever since the release of Dragonquest VIII

I have played DQ4 Jap Version patched to English already (English scripts were already included on the cartridge), and I didnt liked it that much. It mixes 3D Backgrounds with 2D characters, 2D character which don't fit in that well. The GUI is hella boring and looks really outdated, ugly to be honest. Since u will spend quite a few time reading text boxes and battling enemies, having a ugly GUI with 4colors at most is really disappointing. I am not a graphic fetishist, but it wouldn't have hurt to use more than 4colors for teh GUI which is mostly black and white. The 2D characters look okay, but they lack of some fluid animations. It feels like you playing a GBA game but with 3D environments. What I liked that in every world you travel to, people speak in different accents, especially the scottish people are good for a laugh or too. Music is okay too, nothing out of the ordinary here. Has no voiceacting. THis is all I can remember, since the last time I played the game was months ago. lol ^^  |

At first I thought DQM is another pixelated game but I was wrong. I'm currently playing DQM Joker right now to buff up my monsters and getting ready to use them in Wi-Fi battles.   Follow the road you believe in --> |

@sumner: ur best doing that... first time getting in Wi-fi battles... i got my butt handed to me first round, i had good Monsters but stat wise... they weren't ready for it @symeran: looks better than The Snes version @ least, those looked horrible but i still play them cause of the Plot

backorder - well the 3d graphics are lookin pretty good, really detailed. it's jsut that the 2d chars look kinda misplaced. anyway, DQ 4 is out, so go buy it. I have it already and will play it later :D |

got it & i'm sucked into the game so badly, why... *i don't wanna work nor do chores in the house *i'll only hang out in my house cause y'know... S also... ur definately gonna have to pick that up, that game is 100x better
