with all these laws against child labor, and the stores and such always hiring 16+, how does a 14 or 15 year old get a job? I'm in desperate need of a job, so I can buy the CDs of all these songs here... any good places to get a job for the "little people"?  |

| Looks like your in a small town, S-a-c-h-i-e-l. Unfortunently, till you turn 16 and get a min-wage job (hopefully better) I think they only thing you can do is maybe advertise yourself to do work for other people. Mowing lawns, or maybe babysitting, housecleaning... surely someone needs help with something. And they might pay ya for it. I know, its like chores that kids do, but unfortuently not much changes till you hit 16. :/ |

1, make sure you don't live in a State that requires a work permit for minors. 2, have you tried those sites, like groovejob.com that will advertise that local sites that are looking to hire? If you really cannot do work, then off your help doning odd jobs, like mowing the lawn, helping out with yard work, moving stuff, stuff like that. Really, best of luck to you, hope you get work soon.

^_^ Try doing chores for other people or you can make a deal with your parents that for every chore you do, they'll pay you... Or What are your hobbies? Instead of looking for a job, you can make a hobby into a business. ^_^ Hope I helped. |

Thanks for all these pointers, guys! I've been doing my brother's chores for 50 cents each, but that only adds up to $1.50, and only if he agrees, which is about once a week. I just went to groovejob.com, and that seemed to help with making sure I get one, but first I need to get one. It was a big help, though. I'm planning on mowing lawns for people during Memorial week, if people are around. Considering I get $7.50 or so each lawn, that's some nice cash ^_^ Thanks again, I'll be working like a dog soon. ^_^ |

That's half the reason I want to get a job... to buy CDs that have these songs on this site (you did read the legality part where you should delete the songs after 24 hours, right? Cause it's illegal to keep them unless you own the CD). I'm gonna love having money ^_^ |

XD Took me three months to find the job I'm going to be starting fairly soon, don't know how many interviews I had to go through, I'd say at least 100. Well, I hope you are able to get it soon. ^^ Oh yeah, sorry about the horrid spelling in my earlier post, was in a rush to get a few things done.

I salute you. *salute* One more pointer, if ya want it; once your 16, make a resume, and use it even for trivial jobs. You won't have much to put on it, but even having one shows how proffesional and serious you are. |

For 8 hours, 5 days a week I get about 130-150 dollars a week babysitting. Depends if you can stand little kids all day....^^;  |

there are job agencies... i would work part-time till after i reached university and look for a real job... under 16 yr old, can work in petrol station. cos under 16, the person-in -charge must write letter to inform the govt tt they ain't usin child labour. so seldom ppl employ under 16, got some paper work... |

actually my mom is looking at Giant for me, and an application for me. im 15, and I dont know if you have to be 16 to work there. But it's only like part-time at Giant, for the summer also, so I don't know!

well I didn't reall lie, and I can't anyways, cause they can find out and stuff. It's only at a Grocery store, and I dont know if im aloud to work at a real restaurant. McDonalds is always ok, but there are a sh*t load of people working there. I can go there anytime, anyday, and find atleast one of my friends there. It's crazy. Do you have Job Itachi?
