OP was talking about the song on the soundtrack called "Continued Story," played in ending of the final episode. It is good, but isn't another one of the songs really similar to it?
Maka here is an wonderful example of why it's a bad idea to home school your children.
Maybe also a good example of why inbreeding is a bad idea, although the paternity test has not been done to say for sure.

| Great song, but anyone can tell me something 'bout the first part of this song... What language is this ?? I think it's somewhat the same thing as Stories in season 1 or Paradiso in GunXSword, but all the lyrics for these song i've found only have the Japanese parts... |

| Kuroishi Hitomi made her own language, apparently -_- She sings in that for a lot of the Code Geass songs, including the first few verses of Continued Story. Sad to say, it's too hard for us to sing. Boo. |

In the beginning of the verse, it sounded like she said "in this darkest light, in this darkest light". At another part it sounded like she said "this war is a lie". She sings them so softly and gently it's hard to close your eyes and really try to focus. Your hearing sense runs into a brick wall. XD Regardless, it's a very beautiful, melodic track! Might have to check out the entire OST for R2, I heard it was quite terrific. I love the lyrics after she sings "lalala~", "itsuka mata aou, ikiteru kagiri" can just bring tears out. This song reminds me of something that could be used or from Chrono Crusade. They have that same theme added to it. Although compared to Chrono Crusade's illustrious, famous sad ending, this song is just another reason why R2 has one of the best endings ever. You don't even have to know of Code Geass to check it out. I'd recommend it to anyone really. ^_~` The very ending of the song just brings out that image of Lelouch faded in the sky, looking down on the world he created. It's sad to think about that actually... :O

Well you can give it a ten here on Gendou.com, like I did. It's so perfect. :D The lyrics are also provided, but are still un-finished because of that first part, but only at a technical point of view.

This song always makes me cry everytime I listen to it. . .It reminds me of my true love Lelouch. . .I love Hitomi Kuroshi and all of her songs!! I think this song really fits with the ending and the peacefulness of the ending when all is well again. . . ^^ I still miss Lelouch. . .ALOT. . .I want this song played at my funeral. . . HITOMI KUROSHI IS THE BEST!!! XD    |

Despite it's similarity to other songs from Code Geass, this one no doubt has a lasting effect on the viewer. Everytime I hear this song, I see the entire ending to Code Geass going through my head, and it almost makes you want to crrrry! ;_; But yes, certaintly one of the better songs of the series and by far a great song for the ages. Beautiful, calming, soothing, sad and joyful all in one ~ |
