- This seems better than Sony's E3 2008 Line-up thats for sure...

- Im also expecting a promotional video for the DS Suikoden game will be shown at this year's TGS.

- There is this possibility that a PSP version of Little Big Planet may be in development or at least planned

- Snake and Sephiroth infiltrate little big planet.

- Here is the first look on Patapon 2: Don Chaka for the PSP and boasts a new 4 player ad-hoc.

- First impressions on Level 5's new project: White Knight Chronicles

- Tekken 6 will now be released also on the 360 and stated for Fall 2009 alongside its PS3 version and a new "expansion" entitled: "Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion" was announced for the Arcade and will feature new updates and 2 new characters: Alisa Bosconovitch & Lars Alexandersson

- Aside from the fighting game for the Wii and a new title for the DS. Konami hints that they are making a new Castlevania for the current gen consoles. And it may possibly have Alucard as the main character.

- Resident Evil 5 has online co-op? Oh my...

- Way of the Samurai 3 seems to be more interactive now. (Able to bring a companion, more villages, more choices, gaining the ability to unlock more combos for a specific sword, and having to use the blunt side to stun)

- Capcom updates its Tatsunoko vs Capcom crossover with 2 new characters: Karas and PTX 40A. PTX 40A will be the 2 bar character for Capcom to rival Gold Lightan of Tatsunoko.

- Impressions on Monster Hunter 3 for the Wii (link) and it seems an announcement of the official english release of Monster Hunter 2G which will be called "Monster Hunter Freedom Unite" (No links yet but it's pretty believable)

- Details revealed for Square-enix games: Final Fantasy: Dissidia, Final Fantasy Agito XIII, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and an announcement for a Valkyrie Profile DS on TGS 2008

- A hands-on preview for the new Prince of Persia is on the floor and will follow a new story different from the last titles.

- Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 will have more characters appearing in the game and was noted that appearances from characters from the recent "Tales of" games. More customizations were also mentioned

- The cult hit on the Wii is announced to have a sequel entitled: No more Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

* Details for the following games are explained by Jarik Sikat, sales & marketing manager for Koei

- Dynasty Warriors 6 for the PS2 will have exclusive content (New stages, New character upgrades)

- Musou Orochi 2 for the PSP will have the "full console experience". (link for GS hands-on report)

- Dynasty Warriors Multi Raid (or Dynasty Warriors Strike Force in the US). A PSP exclusive, it will have a new engine and a new combat system where characters are able to transform into an "awaken state". Also a mention of "Air-to-air" combat, a lock on system and additional downloadble content in the future.

Totally unrelated but Resident Evil: Degeneration is almost here. (Japan release: Oct 18,2008 - US release: December 30, 2008)

Woah, sounds interesting, and pretty huge, too. I'm curious about those other nine TBA titles.
Reading this from the source, other users have made me curious with possible game releases!

Not much I'm that interested in. Unannounced titles might be worth watching for. Tales of the World 2 will suck, Bandai Namco failed on the first one which was soooo close to being good, so the second one can't be any better.

Way of the Samurai 3 I am super looking forward too. I loved the Way of the Samurai games, only wishing that they weren't limited to 10 day cycles (My complaint of WOTS2). I just hope it doesn't turn sour.

Final Fantasy Dissidia is kind of interesting. That's all there is to say about that. Hopefully it turns out better then Ehergiz did.

Little Big Planet, Resistance 2 and Playstation Home have been shown a lot but hopefully new details emerge. The rest of the lineup looks pretty good, guess we have to wait and see.

and to Resident Evil I say bah! Capcom is trying to make like 3 separate RE movies at the moment, and all 3 will most likely suck, with no horror or tension to speak of. RE4 the movie will probably just end up being a mindless shooting rampage if it ever gets made.

Update: Tekken 6 will going multiplatform and will be simultaneously released on the PS3 and 360 in Fall 2009.

Link on first post and the PS3 fanatics currently ranting.

Also an announcement on the new Tekken 6 expansion called "Bloodline Rebellion" which introduces 2 new characters: Alisa Boskonovich and Lars Alexanderson.

The Street Fighter IV TGS 2008 video has revealed Sakura, Dan and Gouken. Sakura and Dan available for the Home versions. While Gouken as a Secret Character.

(Wow.... SF is super retconned baby...)

Little Big Planet

Ain't it the cutest thing you ever see? These are the sackboy versions included in special packages for the little big planet release.

@Lu Bu - Special packages? Like a collectors edition or are they just randomly given out? Because I SO want Sepiroth and Old Snake.

My bad should have added the Link. (On first post)

Apparently will be released as a downloadable content in the future. The Metal Gear Solid pack is already going for a December release while the Final Fantasy pack has no date available yet.

Damn. Was really looking forward to that. Oh well, I hope at least that they are download ready quickly and not a year down the road when LBP will have likely run it's main course for me.

Way of the Samurai 3 seems to be looking better than I first thought. I just hope Capcom can pull it together, looks like a buy for me though.

New Castlevania should be good too, finally Konami is deciding to give PS3/360 owners some Castlevania action, too many DS and Wii games recently for the series.

I had to change some earlier entries and add some new ones.

I was expecting Megaman Legends 3 to appear. But looks like it was just a rumor at best.

Too bad...

Well at least it seems that there was an announcement for the US release of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (Yes, its MHF 2G) for the PSP.

I suggest the "Dynasty Warriors" fans to check "Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce" for the PSP (link provided on the first post).

I think I just saw a Super Saiyan-like Zhao Yun battle a huge monster...

I'm shocked that Sony didn't announce the game that Ico team is working on for them. They need something to build up more of a buzz around their system, because as cool as it looks, Little Big Planet won't be everyone's cup of tea. I regards to Megaman Legends 3, according to the lead designer for the Legends' games they would love to make a new game ,but Capcom is unwilling to provide the amount of money the team would need to make the game "top rate."

oh man...i wanted more Megaman Legends...that's kinda unfortunate.

So this is what Square-Enix has really become. Screw spending a long time developing top quality games, their new plan is to make really pretty CGI and fire out as many games as possible with the Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts title slapped on. I'm so sick of this company, I want my precious SquareSoft back. :(
The only one that looks slightly promising is Final Fantasy Agito XIII, but judging by the line mentioning each character mapped to a face button it could just turn out to be Final Valkyrie Profile.

Tales of the World 2 from what the Hideo Baba is saying is pretty much an exact copy of Tales of the World except with twice as many characters. Not very promising. Tales of the World didn't have any substance to it, just a lot of icing, and now he says the second will be the same thing except with say a cherry on top now. Won't be picking up that game, not unless they actually add a story to it.

I'm guessing LuBu is pumped for anything Dynasty Warriors, not really my cup of tea.

I suddenly feel hungry. . . wonder why.

Technically yes. After Koei first announced plans for Warriors Orochi 2. I was expecting it to be eventually released on the PSP in the future and I was spot on. I was happy to know that my gut instinct was right all along.

Seeing that they are trying something different with DW: Strike Force, I am very interested on how they will make this unique from the other "Warrior" titles that they have already released. I have seen the video and it's still "so-so".

In ToW: Radiant Mythology 2. I'm expecting more freedom for the players to explore. I felt slightly bored jumping from one small area to another. But the battle system and fan-service was satisfying for me. Still, I am having second thoughts with it. (Yes, I just quoted myself in GS)

Oh yeah. And I'm very happy to know they (Capcom) will finally release Monster Hunter 2G in the west. I really didn't want to play the 99% english version patch of MH2G and had been hoping that they would release it eventually. A bit late but better late than never. (Good thing I was occupied in playing Disciples 2 and Beyond Good and Evil at that time...)

Hahaha! I really am confused on how people loved Marvel vs Capcom 2 when it was sooooo broken and buggy. I just got -2 when I commented that Capcom should fix the bugs and resolve the unbalance issues to get my respect. But still, I understand the great fan service that this game provides.

[@MC] Oh wow, they didn't (response to ICO topic).

Hmm, the one day in website design class I was looking at some "coming soon" website or graphic page for it.
I forget what it was, but I think they had a title for it, I have to check or it could mean something else.

I want to see this though, or even hear something relating to it.
Both games by them were great and I want more!
