Looking for some advice..

| Hi guys. I only procured a taste for anime music recently. I liked rurouni kenshin's songs "half", "sobakasu" and "it's gonna rain" and I'm looking to find more like it. Could you recommend some songs to me? Thanks. |

I like Heart of Sword but you wont find any songs from here cause of copyright reasons <--- says Gendou

try www.bestanime.com im not sure if the quality is good.. i didnt dl the songs from there i cnt really remember where i dled em really but this site got all of the songs in full length.... |

expect the lowest quality you could ever imagine, hehe although the site is good, i dont recommend downloading songs there  |

well,.. if you dont want to stick to just Rurouni Kenshin songs,.. pretty much anything by Yoko Kanno is cool (she composed the soundtracks to Macross Plus [4 soundtracks], Cowboy Bebop [6 soundtracks], Wolfs Rain [2 soundtracks], and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone complex [3 soundtracks] Other Macross soundtracks are good, like the Macross & soudtracks , or the Macross II soundtracks. You could also pick up the Robotech perfect soundtrack as well ( if they ever make more prints!) Another good soundtrack is Inuyasha (there is a best collection cd that has ALL the opening/closing songs on it) As well as the .Hack// series soundtracks (.Hack//Sign, .Hack// Dusk, and .Hack//Liminality) the list is endless, its just a matter of your taste, a good way to figure that out would be to watch a lot of random animes, listen to the songs and BGM in it,.. and then go from there ( thats how I began my anime cd collction, )

I totally agree that (almost) whatever Yoko Kanno did is good! But if you say that you've just had a thing for anime music lately, why don't you sample the other songs that the Rurouni artists did? Bonnie Pink has done other songs in various anime, and they have different styles. L'Arc~en~Ciel (they did 4th Avenue Cafe and Niji in RK) also did other songs in different anime. If you find songs that you like, then you can widen your search. ^^  ��空����愛��人よ? Kono sora no dokoka itoshii hito yo? |

i 'd recommedn dan dan (dbgt), butterfly kiss (rave) -btw, i like sobakasu too!- still time, for real, alone and open up your mind (all from gsaiyuki). |
