So far I've got... -Final Fantasy VII -Final Fantasy VIII -Final Fantasy IX -Xenogears -Vagrant Story And yes they're all games from the time when Square Enix was still known as Square Soft. Anyways..I'm currently looking for other PSX games.So could you guys recommend some titles? Thanks :D  |

Parasite Eve 1 Parasite Eve 2 Silent Hill (If you like Survival Horror) The Legend of Dragoon Suikoden Wild Arms There's lots to choose from. How are you getting PS1 games on your PSP? Hacked PSP I'm guessing.    |

That pretty much sums it up... In other countries, modding a system doesn't invoke the ire of the company unlike the US or Japan. They'll hate you for it, but the legal system doesn't work for them.  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Doesn't really invoke ire here either, mainly because there isn't jack they can really do about it unless they are willing to go to battle over it. I haven't modded mine basically because it has gotten far too old, the analog is almost gone so it wouldn't work too well for games. I do wish to get a modded PSP though, maybe when I get a new one. |

Having a hacked psp is likea must now. At first i wanted to be a good boy and not mess up my warranty but whem you hear about free games, youtube, and other wonderful homebrew apps, i had to hack mine xDD! (jon u can hand hack your psp btw) games: Rival Schools Bloody Roar Battle Arena Toshinden 4  Part of the new age Gendou RP veterans: Kira, Rukia, KM Revolution, Smoker, Avian, L, and Ryu. |

@BoA- I know I can do it that way, but my analog stick is messed up and does that thing where it's in it's default place but the system is being told that 'down' is being selected. So usually my characters start running towards me by themselves or the menu selector constantly scrolls down and I can't go up. It just screws with my entire gameplay. Some of the older games it wouldn't be too bad seeing as how they wouldn't have analog support, but menu navigation on a lot of apps and games would be hell (it is now to some extent). |

wait u mean like its stuck or the stick is fine but its just messed up? If its the first one you can easily take it off and replace it buy buyin a new one Part of the new age Gendou RP veterans: Kira, Rukia, KM Revolution, Smoker, Avian, L, and Ryu. |

@BoA- The stick moves around fine and everything, but the sensor that tells which direction the stick is being moved is stuck in the 'down' position as far as I can tell. It's like when you used to plug your controller into your PS2, Gamecube or N64 and the menu selector would keep scrolling down, so you had to unplug it and then plug it back in. |

I'll give you a reason of why I modded mine. 1. Rumors of the return of the region block in future updates. 2. Able to play my PS1 games 3. I don't really care about the warranty, because the SONY service centers here fail in their service. And therefore the warranty is worthless anyways. I have far supported the industry for it's development. If ever I find it interesting or worth it, I acquire the original product for purchase. Then I play the PS1 game in my PSP so I won't be using the CD often. Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

@Lu- My warranty ran out about 2 or 3 years ago since I got it around the time it first came out. The main reason I want to mod mine is because I want to be able to play little portable versions of my favorite games and there's simply no place to buy them for that purpose. PS store never adds PS1 games I actually want (Suikoden and Wild Arms was a start, but where's my dang Final Fantasy VII, Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross and Persona? Give the people what they want Sony!) and I don't want to dig up a Gameboy or Gameboy Advance and bring that with me as well when I feel the urge to play Pokemon or Super Mario. |

There is a good solid reason that the PS1 store would hardly put any new title. And the reason being, that it is pretty hard to reconfigure the graphics of the PS1 for the PSP. There is currently no pops program that could run every single or majority of the PS1 titles in the PSP. It's pretty clear with the popsloader plugin (which enables you to use and choose which versions of pops to run the game) that there is more work to be done. Here is a good list of problems in the PS1 emulations on the PSP with the current and past pops for the CFW. I lost all trust to warranty here when the Sony Service Center refused to check my PS2. | PS1 games if you cover Final Fantasy VII through IX (only ones that haven't been rereleased yet), Star Ocean, and Wild Arms that sums up a lot of the main titles for the system. |

Ive got Persona 1,2 Legend of the dragoon FF 1-9 MGS 1 Resident Evil 1-3 Parasite Eve 1,2 Xenogears Digimon world 3 Wild Arms 4 these are wat ive ripped from my original cds ive had and made into eboots. ive seen some if not all going around torrent site. if these were on the PS store i would download and play em for my ps3. but sony doesnt understand the consumers needs and being all dum about all the security upgrades in their firmware that y they lose money on the ps3. |

XD (sorry if some of there were already stated, and I dun guarantee whether you would like some of these as much as I enjoyed playing it.) +Breath of Fire III and IV +Chrono Cross +Chrono Trigger (since you already stated Zenogears as one, they are from teh same SquareSoft... XD) +Digimon World Series +FF series. +The Legend of Dragoon +Legend of Mana +Legend of Legaia +Persona, Persona 2 +Shin Megami Tensei Series +Suikoden Series +Tales of Destiny Series +Tales of Phantasia +Vagrant Story +Valkyrie Profile Series Some other titles: +Resident Evil series +Clock Tower series(though, I've never really finished this one) +CastleVania series and then there are those arcade-button-bashing type of games.. XD
