If you are looking to catch up on all the new anime series out there I have found that Newtype USA is a great source of info. It's a little pricey but it reads like the Rolling Stone of anime mags :)

Well myself I'm from North Europe (Sweden, Finland,Norway and I don't remember the rest. Try to guess where I'm from) where and there are only three (really there is only one shown now) anime shows and none of them are even a really good one.
I've seen all my favorite animes only on the computer.(Really sorry if I did a little mistakes on the writing but my english is a little rusty)

I'm not crazy, I'm just being myself.

I'm Swedish! :D I live in Stockholm! I'm a stupid swidish blonde!! Nah, just kiddin.
We have no anime, besides, like, Pokemon and YuGiOh. Personally, I download everything I watch. Even though it's illegal. <.< >.>
But we DO have some manga. Many stores sell imported manga from USA and so, but there are a few translated to Swedish. Those would be Fushigi yuugi, Ranma, Inuyasha, DB, One-piece, Love Hina, Shaman King, Naruto, Gravitation and Tokyo Mew Mew. (There are a few more, but I don't remember them at the moment.) And even though the Swedish ones are cheaper, I do prefer the american translations and so. The thing is just, manga and anime fans are rarely taken seriously! It's frustrating!

Oh, well. But it's okey, I guess. Besides, Swedish Anime and manga fans are all really friendly!
Not that everybody else isn't!!

*Glares darkly at big pile of homework hoping it would just burn*
