Why do you love Gendou.com?

People would say hi to each other without questioning the origins of one's background, family or lifestyle. and everyone was there originally for one aim, music. its amazing to think how such simple thing as music and anime could grow up to a family, best friends, and place you could claim as one of your precious memories. hikky: done. Hmm, reminds me of another thread, eh? Anyways, Gendou.com... it's kind of obvious, if not, I love the forums, seriously. When I first found the site off of a Google search for some anime song years ago, I came across this website, though unlike half the members here, I didn't rave Gendou.com of its music database. I took the time to explore around and eventually found the area of the boards I'm most comfortable being around... the forums. The forums, to me, is more interesting than other forums around the internet because Gendou.com entirely, is a different type of website/forum around the net. Yes, it's entirely made of HTML and everything is made from scratch, but other than the database, which is the obvious main attraction for Gendou.com, I love the forums more than the database, and the chat room. Not that I don't love the music database, I try to help contribute all the time if I can and I love the songs, but the forums just makes anyone express themselves and really brings everyone together. Everyone, if they've either read or experienced it themselves, knows about the "Golden Age Era". Now it's kind of split between the chat and the forums, but I've been on the forums for over three years and I'm still here. The forums just offer so much: interesting topics, updates on news/anime/music/etc., meet new people, clubs, etc. Although it's not like the old days back around '06, I love the forum now and I have many friends here, good friends. It's a shame we might not be meeting anytime soon, but for an online community, this is my favorite, it's my "online home" if you will and I come back everyday. So overall, I love Gendou.com because of the large forum where you see me around for the vast majority of my online time, the countless friends I've made over the years. Some long gone, some lurkers, and some I speak with everyday, it's still great, and lastly, the database really is the best on the internet. First on Google search results? That's something you can go home bragging about. :P With new anime series added now, and it's own database starting to grow, it'll only begin to attract more members. We're all going to leave one day, but I won't dare speak of that day anytime soon! Hail (or heil (heil), lol) Gendou.com. *raises fist with fury and pride in the air*

Wooow...where to start... I love Gendou.com since I stumble upon the forums...way before the chat... Back in 2006... I have met amazing people in Gendou, and I had the luck of meeting some of them in real life. Gendou.com just like DA says is my "online home" even when I don't post as much as in "the golden era" hahaha I think I got into the forums right at the end of that era... But in general...I love Gendou.com because of the people in it and the wonderful atmosphere you find in it. Thanks Gendou *-* |

I Think my answers will be the same as pame and DA xD I Live through the golden age era as a n00b back then.. Even so, I must say I enjoyed it a lot being in here at that time.. even now ^^ although too bad the forum part is not as active as those days.. but hey, I Believe that the forum part will be more active maybe sometime in the future. back then, I Was lured by the music.. then proceeding to check out the forum part during my first day here out of curiousity and joined my first RP XDD and yes, since this is my first home online.. I have a lots of memories being in here.. met a lots of awesome people... even if I leave for a while I Will definitely come back again cause I Really think this is the only place where I Belong and I Feel comfortable being here.. hmmm good question. ok no one word hmm...not in order but whatever. lol 1. this site offers a lot of anime music and very safe! the safest online :D i really wanna try to contribute as much as i can. 2. the forum is pretty different from others...which is very unique. and i like it the way it is XD. though i missed the golden era i still find this place wonderful :D 3. my online home is HERE! nowhere else! this is the only place i'm actually active..maybe because this site have so many friendly people? XD the rest i just become a leecher XD. back from school i immediately open my pc just to post around here XD 4. so many awesome people! and singers! and this is where i start learning how to make avys (and right now trying to make sigs but no time lol) and the awesome GFX artists inspired me to do better! 5. ZE CHAT! that place is awesome! i met a lot of people there which is actually somehow satisfying hehe  |

Hmm why I love Gendou.com; #1: No external website advertisements. #2: Plain, simple and unique web layout. #3: No bandwidth limits. #4: Does not pester its visitors to donate like in some website you have to donate a certain sum to download a certain sum. #5: Nice and reasonable array of rules. #6: Conducive environment. Founded Gendou.com two years ago through Google searching for Anime music. After exposing myself to the community of Gendou, I felt that the community here is way friendlier than those you may experience in other forums. All members be it moderator or not are always there to help. Give a question in Chat, an answer would definitely be replied. So yeah, that is why I love Gendou.com .     |

Since I love computers, I think a website like this built from scratch is a masterpiece; totally fascinated about it. Since I am new I have yet to find more reasons to love this website. Discovered this website in a reply to a query (not mine) looking for anime music in a different Forums I am regular at. |

I love gendou.com for many reasons: It's straight forward and easy to navigate through. There are no advertisements, so I don't have to worry about spam or virus's getting in my computer through it. Everything is tracked, so if someone were to figure out my password or something, Gendou would know where it was hacked from. The people are amazing to talk to, every so often you get the occasional annoying person, but then you realize that the annoying person is actually a pretty cool dude. The original reason I came to this site was for the music, but after two years of being here, the chat room was born, and so was my second life.  |

I love gendou.com was because, I made many good friends here, it's like a second home to me in some way. It is also help me improve my skill if i want to go into animation, computer programmin. I got to thank gendou.com for that.XD I use to go to gendou.com just for music, but now it is to hang out with the friends I made over the years here in gendou and have fun.  |

I love Gendou.com because: 1: there are many people to get to know and befriend here 2: the amount of music 3: forums and chat = ♥ 4: the rules are easy to follow basically that's why, but it's like my calling to be here and other philisophical stuffs like that.  |

I agree with Frozen and Jess. Gendou has a close-nit community that makes you want to be on here despite the free music and anime. The way in which users are able to contribute to this site in my opinion is great! It's also very up-to-date in the music section and extremely user-friendly.   |
