I've been wondering...who are people's favorite scearmers from J-rock bands...my favorite's are Yusuke from High and Mighty Color (I'm obessed with him and that band!)...and Daisuke-han from Maximum the Hormone.  |

I agree with you on those two screamers, they're quite good but somewhat, scary to me. O.o Yusuke was the one screaming in Ichirin no Hana, right? |

Yup....I thought he was a girl screaming at first but recently he's been getting alot better at it. |

Yusuke from HMC and the leadie for Maximum the Hormone are right, but Gackt takes the cake in songs like Jesus and Lust for Blood, IMO.  --> |

@dee-dee: GACKT isn't in a band, but he's a legendary screamer. Search him on IMEEM or YT; I'm sure you'll find stuff related to him that'll blow your auditory systems. --> |

Yes same! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DAISUKE from MTH~ but he just had throat surgery like um around january or so? anyway i hope it went ok :( apparently he messed up his throat.. from too much screaming i guess T.T |

Dang, gotta fix that typo in the title. :P Haven't heard so many screaming related genre bands from Japan yet. Only mainstream ones like Maximum the Hormone and Dir en Grey. I still think Kyo is the best screamer/vocalist (of genre) in the world, but over the years he's dropped a bit, but not that much actually. The recordings are still evil as heck and they still sound heavy. Daisuke on the other hand from Maximum the Hormone, too insane and consistent. Pretty energetic live, which is hard to maintain at his pace, but yeah, he's currently recovering from surgery from vocal damage, hohoho~ Haven't heard everything from UnsraW, Suicide Ali, but I'd probably agree with Fra-tun on those choices. Oh, and D'espairsRay, too! Hmm, there's also that female vocalist from DAZZLE VISSION!! There's maybe a few other nice ones, but are all from underground, lesser known bands. And a recent one I love is the guitarist/back-up vocals (screams/screamo) from FACT!! w00t~!!
