I'm hoping to re-open this thread in the near future but with a few changes to the premise to accomadate for the limited spare time i have as well as i can tell the time of the other staff. One thing i had in mind was to have a joint effort with the 'Claim an anime/manga character' thread. Those who claim a character can also not only recieve a banner/icon but if they desire a piece of artwork of said claim. This idea is not official yet since i've yet to decide to re-open this thread. Anyways in the little spare time i do have i've been looking over the entire list of 'claim' characters & doing some rough artwork of each one. These rough sketches are probably the way i can be able to fullfill requests for the time being since doing it my normal way may prove to long & or i will forget about them entirely. I posted some samples of said style in the 'you draw' thread if anyone wants to take a look at them. I'll check back to this thread in the coming weeks & decide on a course i wanna take with this thread. Thanks to all for being patient & i apologize for any inconvience that some requesters may have. *note* If there are any outstanding open requests that i've forgotten about drop me a shout or PM me so i can at least finish any of them.  |

So , it's closed for now . Since it's temporary closed , I won't lock it for now (Unless if it's needed :/) Sorry if I weren't here for a long time . I'm putting my focus on my artworks (Most of it :P) Still , there are requests here that are still for the taking , so for those who are free , feel free to take them up ^^ (I might take up one once I'm done with my current '3' artworks XO) I've finished a request made by  : That's it for now , later ^^ |

Things seem to be somewhat dead here, but I think this is a more appropriate spot to ask than the 'You Draw' thread (since I was sent here last time. Aaaannyway. I'm here as Host/Creator of the Talk Show Radio to try and hit up one of the artists here for a favor. I'm looking for a logo image for the Radio Show's main page in the 'Other' section. Something to use as a banner of sorts on the front page as well as something I can use to break in to individual pictures to use as Avy/Sig icons or in profiles. It's nothing big really. Just a simple scene with four characters representing us (myself, Maiku, Terror and Ray) sitting at a table with mics hanging down or something to that effect. It will not have to be a large image and it won't have to be really detailed (I'm actually considering going the Chibi route for instance). If anyone is willing to work with me and help out in this it would be greatly appreciated.    |

@ Jon-san This thread & myself are on a bit of a hiatus due to hectic work schedule & other miscellaneous duties. However if or when i find the time whether it be on the bus or late at night i can see what i can do with your request. The thing is i can't guarantee that this will be completed or not. Also the quality may be lacking cause it'll probably be a sketch. Again time pending it may be cleaned up to a degree, for example my last post in the 'You draw..' thread. To make it maybe easier the chibi route will be doable than something highly detailed. Just in case i take this on is there anything i may need to know about you 4 guys appearance or is it all up to imagination....like you with 36' biceps, or Terror-san with rock hard abs, or Ray with Fabio-like hair, or Maiku with all of the above? Just asking.... |

That's the stuff I would find out from them if and when we found somebody willing to do it. If you're too busy then there is no need to push for it. I simply asked here for anyone who might be interested in trying, because the last time I asked for a custom image everyone suggested that I try this thread. I may be better off looking in to the You Draw thread actually. I appreciate your willingness to work on it, but I'd like something more polished than just a sketch, and I would want it to be in color (at least, the characters, background is not really a big deal). I figured chibi would be a better fit for the mood of the talk shows, as well as not taking as long to draw as, for example, the image Ich did for me. So yeah, no need to go squeezing this request in. It isn't something that needs to get done quickly anyway. |

* B - U - M - P *!!! Well looky what's back up & running again. The fabulous "U draw anime" request thread!!! After another long hiatus it is bout time to re-open the thread yet again this time hopefully for a much longer period. Last year i was pretty much inactive in the Gendou forums mainly due to work & outside duties. But this time my New Years Resolution is to be more active again. What better way to do that than by running this thread again. It also give me the opportunity to revisit my passion that i have ignored for too long. which is to draw. After such a long time i hope i will be able to capture the passion i had of drawing, it may take me some time to get back into the groove, get back the skills i learned for the majority of my 30 year old life. NOTE * I ask to be patient & i promise that i will do my utmost best to fulfill your request * I edited some of the rules & details on the very first page so if any of you have a request you would like READ the first page of this thread. NOTE * I won't be accepting any staff for the time being, in the future that may change but for now this thread will be run by yours truly. * I'm still in the process of setting things up & i hope to be up running by mid-week or end of the week. Thanks Ich-san for the support, coming from you means alot. Thanks for the offer but i don't wanna trouble you at this time cause i know you are busy sometimes. Right now i wanna see if i can handle doing this on my own, maybe when the time is right i will begin accepting helping hands. I'll let you know :D ***************** Okay folks i believe i'm gonna be ready as i will ever be so i offically declare this thread to be open...AGAIN :P I'll gladly accept requests now but only 3 at a time since i need some time to work on the requests. Ah~ I am glad to see this thread revived. Looking at your current status, it would seem that you will need requests more than artists so I will be requesting one to keep this thread alive. Now, if you do not mind Izumo-chan, I would like to request Tenshi Hinanai from Touhou. You have the utmost freedom on the character's pose. I believe artists work best with some degree of dicretion in their job ;) Pictures for reference: Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Picture 4 Take all the time you will ever need. Pray, have fun~♥ |

@ Liweny-san Oh! My first requester! thanks for stepping up to the plate! I'll absolutely do my very best to meet your expectations! It is ok that the thread so far is slow at this point, in fact it is kinda nice since it gave me the oppurtunity to work on things to get back up to speed with my artwork. Now that i have brushed up on some kinks it will be better for me to take requests on. Also thanks for being patient & as soon as i am done i'll drop you a PM...haven't really done a Touhou character so this will be a nice challenge. |

Ouh, glad to see that this thread revived. I had my eyes on this thread for quite a while, but have yet got my request ready since request of original character is currently unavailable. Ah, well, do you mind taking my request? ;] I would probably like to request Kousaka Kirino from Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai. ♥ I'd leave the pose and perspective for the artist to decide. @ Liweny-san Sorry it is taking so long, i'm almost done, i'll have it up by tommorrow. Hopefully it is up to your expectations. Remember i only do B&W with pencil shading. @ Cel-san Thanks for dropping by! I always wanted to reopen the thread but was just too busy with outside duties to do so. As soon as i finish with the first request i'll get on with your request. Kousaka is up my alley in the type of characters i enjoy drawing (cute gals) so this will be fun. |
