I know theme song for the anime Strait Jacket is called The Last Hope. It's by Takeshi Yanagawa. But ALL of this info come from the credits at the end of the anime Strait Jacket. Unfortunately the ending credits are the ONLY source for this info, they are not online ANYWHERE! So when I went to fill out the request form here on this site I couldn't finish it. I did the best I could by sort of rigging it by linking to the Wikipedia page on Strait Jacket and then adding a music section to the wikipedia entry and adding the song there. Then finishing the request form with that info. But wiki deleted that section now. So the only place I you'll find the info now is 2 places 1) in the ending credits of the anime Strait Jacket 2) right here in this post anime name: Strait Jacket song type: opening theme song name: The Last Hope artist: Takeshi Yanagawa Please fulfill this request even though it isn't done the official way. I'm DYING to get a hold of this song. I just can't find the info online, If you want to confirm the info I've provided, look through all of the ending credits of the anime Strait Jacket. |

You could try ANN. I've done a few myself in the past, and there's an actual source choice called "from the actual anime", or something like that. A lot of members constantly check it, so if it needs to be edited, it'll eventually be re-edited.

What's ANN? You mean like www.ann.com? Or is ANN an acronym for something? Please be more specific. Also where did you find the choice "from the actual anime"? Do you mean you found it on the music request form here at gendou.com? If so where did you find it? Screen shot please with edited in arrow pointing to it this option. So I'd like to know for next time. Also is it possible to edit my request and change it to use "from the actual anime", if that option isn't currently used? Or is editing request info prohibited? Please, any assistance with these issues would be nice. |

ANN = Anime News Network. Make an account (in order to submit info). It's been a while so I don't remember how the process is exactly, but when you submit info for an OP/ED theme song, they'll have options to cite your source. One of them is something like "directly from the anime" or so, etc. You'll see. It's a simple process. About requesting a song, you can't edit requests after submitting them. You can delete your request and maybe re-submit it, no harm in that I suppose, but the whole process is troublesome. You're also missing which OP theme song it actually is (unless there's one, but still state that) and if it's released. Also, I just checked, and it appears to be an OVA, so make sure to add that as well (Straight Jacket OVA).

There is only one opening song in the anime Strait Jacket. That would make it (using your notation) OP01 Strait Jacket was released as an OVA and later as a movie (was aired in its Wnglish dubbed version on Sci-Fi Channel's anime time segment called Animonday). Above a user said: "Make an account (in order to submit info). But the problem is that when I go to the Gendou request form, there is a TEXT BOX that I have to type in the URL. I Have NO URL to a site that corroborates the info I'm putting it. My info is DIRECTLY from the anime's credits. But since there ONLY is a text box that allows URL input, there is NOT a drop down list to allow me to select anything like "directly from the anime". So I'm out of luck, EVEN THOUGH I know directly from the anime's credits, simply because no website exists with this information. ANY HELP HERE PLEASE! |

Straight Jacket the opening theme and the ending are very good and i also like to have the song so please have in the download music section please and i know many people ask for it. Lingfeng |

it has to go through the process of being requested just like any other song. if you want it and you know other people want it then request the song and let others vote on it if they really want it bad enough
