Eden of the East/ Higashi no Eden

This anime just started today, but I've been looking forward to it since the trailers and I have to say, I'm REALLY impressed. It's got an original story, great animation, and songs that I really enjoy. I didn't see any forum threads about it yet and want to know if anyone else here saw it and enjoyed it. :D Those who do not know it should seriously give it a look. The people behind Ghost in the Shell and Honey and Clover were really able to put it together well and I just hope more people get to watch it XD |

Nicely done Amixa. This is on my "to watch list" because of the weird and wonderful description I've read of the storyline. Sounds pretty intriguing. And also wanted to watch it 'cos Production I.G. (as you said with the GitS) is behind the wheel. I love their work, so they'll probably do a great job. Now just have to go download from gg subbers :)

November 22, 2010. Monday. Ten missiles hit the territory of Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be known as "Careless Monday" apparently did not cause any victims, and was soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later... Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her day. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. First of all, he appears to have lost his memory. Secondly, he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's grabbing with the other hand. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash. Who is Akira Takizawa? What are the secrets behind his extraordinary mobile phone? What got lost with his vanished memory? (from Production I.G website) Still haven't watched it actually. Got gg's version. ^^.

This show is..... About Johnny XD interesting stuff indeed. The main character seems to be able to make the show enjoyable. Art style is not really my kind, but the animation and story covers it up. I'll see how the next episodeds are doing |

The art style remind me of honey and clover. I won't really care about it, since this anime seem like it's gonna be a top hit for this season. The story looks really interesting even though it seem predictable at some points. It's like a mix of some anime or drama. xD Cute and fun, with some actions. Their english was funny though. I'm looking forward for some good action and unexpected scene so yeah. A must watch anime. |

Yeap, this anime is pretty interesting. I can only work out part of the plot though. Animation wise its... usual since the very first thing that Eden brought to my mind is GITS!  |

My favorite anime series this season by far. It's been a long, long time since I've seen something this good. Despite all the popularity it's getting, all the other new shows are having their episodes added to the site shortly after release, but Eden of the East still only has episode one posted- why is that? Has it been difficult for the uploader to find subbed episodes? Not complaining, just curious. |

The best anime [this season] !!! very suspenseful.  oh yes. so great. lol.Cannot wait for more! Agreeably, the animation is mediocre, but the plot and music is awesome  Oh, and WOAH with the over-subbing. Like 15 fansubs are doing this anime!!  What subber do you guys download from? I watch [gg], since they release the episode first, but Gendou.com episode download offers [lunar], probably the best one out of the 15... |

Man, I have to say this right and clear, this show is pure AWESOME!!! I really love it, it's cool. and the phones, god, wish i could have one of those. XD I heard they even sell real-life Selecao-cell-phones in Japan! XDD  don't know if it got any amount of money in it... XP    |

I've watched the first 2 eps from gg, but I'm gunna watch some more tonight hopefully. The story's quite intriguing, purely for the fact that I want to know more about Juiz, more about Noblesse Oblige. And why does Juiz end the phoncall mentioning a saviour. Interesting. I think I'm in love with Akira. That is all. Oh apart from the fact that phone looks soo cool! Do want.
