English-inspired 70s-80s Japanese bands?

Some of you may know of the mods and rockers of England's 1960s. But not as many people know of the mod revival of the late 70s and early 80s. I'm a really big fan of mod revival, and also a big fan of anime, so you can imagine how amazed I was to find that mod revival stretched out of England and to Japan. (I already knew that mod revival was popular in some European countries and certain parts of America) But anyway, I just thought I'd share this with you since you all seem to like Japanese music and it's quite rare for me to like music from outside of England.
