I need suggestions of good English rock bands. Bands that sound like Maximum the Hormone or Dir en Grey.  |

I don't listen to any Metal bands that are anything like MTH to be honest with you. And with DeG, do you want old Deg (visual), old DeG (metal/rock), current DeG (heavy metal/gothic)?

Yeah, same here D-A... Ah, i'm no good with english songs/bands lol, don't like them as much as japanese ^^; The only one I know vaguely is that Metallica (American band, no wait Australian?) do heavy metal ^^ and they're pretty famous.   |

Oh no, I really like MTH, they're really awesome. Just saying I don't know any bands that relate to their personal style of fast paced metal/screamo but at the same time can add in some pop and rock. And yes, Metallica is one of the most popular metal bands in the history of music, but nothing like MTH or DeG at all. Though if you want other metal/hardcore American bands I do like, I can list a few of those.

Well I need a reply to know what they're exactly looking for. And I doubt a lot of other members listen to American Hardcore and whatnot.

English Hardcore... then try My Chemical Romance, Boys like Girls, Bullet For My Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold. Don't listen to American bands much but try those... They're pretty good |

Try listening to songs by AFI. You'll enjoy most of their songs especially Miss Murder if you enjoyed songs by Maximum The Hormone. English rock bands that I would reccomend; AFI My Chemical Romance Three Days Grace Aerosmith Evanescence The All-American Rejects Hot Action Cop     |

I favor both Japanese and non-Japanese Rock, but my interests lean a bit closer to J-Rock because they have that "something" in their music that I still can't put my finger on. My favorites: Dir en Grey Deathgaze Girugamesh Maximum the Hormone Mucc X-Japan |
